The remix is delivered by Mark Van Rijswijk. Mark already did several tracks and remixes for the label under his Genzuru alias in the uplifting trance genre, but returns to his roots under his own name, creating a beautiful progtrance remix with a deep feel. His version features a more aggressive bassline than the original, and for the main melody Mark chose an Eighties type of hardware synth lead. The Extended Mix follows the structure of a classic trance track, moving from a vocal stutter into the melodic introduction. The piano leads in the breakdown, with the first verse and chorus of the catchy vocal. Right before the climax, the song even features an old school vocal bridge, before the leads take over and the track hits its peak. The band that is known for trance anthems with hit potential, ever since they released 'Feeling This Way' and returned to the scene with 'Sail Away', did it again. An earworm of a track, that will appeal to both casual listeners and diehard trance fans.

After a bit of radio silence, we are proud to finally bring you the new LiftChain release: 'Beyond The Stars'. With his previous track 'Metamorphosis' receiving heavy support from the likes of JES, Paul Van Dyk and Suzanne Chesterton a.o., 'Beyond The Stars' continues in the same fashion, with the signature LiftChain-sound. A hybrid style of progressive trance, more uptempo proglifting sounds and a both catchy and tranquil pluck melody. The release is accompanied with a more techy approach from iamMTN and includes an Ambient version from Colombian producer Phillipe Lois to top it all off.

The Extended Club Mix contains every ingredient that listeners of previous LiftChain releases have become familiar with. The track kicks off with a groovy bassline to give the track its proggy feel before the energy slowly starts to build towards the breakdown. Summer feels are in demand all year, regardless of the seasons. Sienna Collective provides the perfect lounge track to take your mind to the sound of lapping waves and the fading warmth of the last rays on your face before sunset. ‘Ocaso’ is an ode to these sunsets. With the release of this more Deephouse orientated track, Premier League Recordings wants to show that many styles can fit the Trance feeling. 

Sienna Collective is a collaboration project between Dutch producer Mark Van Rijswijk (Genzuru) and talented multi-instrumentalist Anja De Bruin. ‘Ocaso’ is the second release, after their track ‘Bliss’ which recently came out on Daniel Wanrooy’s Elpida Music.

Hailing from Canada, the first remix comes from the hands of Sasha Van Laur. His remix appears in a slightly higher BPM and has more of a Progtrance feel to it. Still, Sasha manages to make use of the instrumentation of the original without making it sound out of place. His deep and bass heavy take makes ‘Ocaso’ dancefloor ready, while keeping that positive summer feel.

His style reminds of classic Lange tracks and remixes, while having an additional layer of energy that seems to be signature for Enigma State. This is Trance music in its purest form.

Previously doing the rounds already as a self-released track, ‘Last Horizon’ has been picked up by Premier League Recordings now for a full official release. It’s the debut single on our label for D.J.G. & M.I.K! With the stunning vocals of Louella, who ventures into trance waters for the first time.

‘Last Horizon’ managed to make some waves already but received additional remixes now by Paul Fletcher and Stuart Davidson. This is a full-on vocal uplifter that is both catchy and energetic.

Louella previously did soul and R’n’B tracks, which shows in her voice. She delivers a touching and soulful vocal for this track and it fits like a glove with the high energy trance from D.J.G. & M.I.K! They have made a name for themselves as DJ’s and streamers already but prove to be excellent producers as well. The remixes have their own strengths. Where Paul Fletcher takes a more melodic approach, Stuart Davidson chooses a banging rework even containing some techtrance elements.

After a few more uptemo releases, we proudly present the latest addition to our progressive outlet SubTerranean. Belarusian producer Bliss29 comes with a quality 2-track E.P. containing the tracks 'Anonym' and 'Liberate'. Both tracks have their own identity, with 'Anonym' being a bit moody, while 'Liberate' is slightly more emotional and cinematic. Bliss29 made a name for himself recently with a few releases on Alter Ego Records, and we are proud to host his tracks on Premier League Recordings now as well!

The 2nd track on the E.P. is called 'Liberate' which is a bit more upbeat. Piano chords and a nice progressive bassline move the track forward. The breakdown has a bit of a cinematic theming with the use of an angelic choir vocal sample, before the main melody is presented in full. This track is more straightforward, yet, still it's a quality progressive track that adds nicely to the first track 'Anonym'.

For the first time in 10 months, Nth Factor releases a brand new original. The producer, known for tough uplifting trance tracks, delivers the bangin' release 'By The Sword'. Nth Factor shows that moral appeal and a massive club track can go hand in hand. After his remix on 'Any Given Day' by Mykynes, Ancient Umbra returns to the label with his first full original. 'Ouroboros' is a powerful track in his signature style, blending elements from Psytrance, Uplifting and Techtrance, to deliver a track that flows of energy.

The track moves on an energetic bassline, before introducing hints of the massive lead. The typical Ancient Umbra kick patterns kick in before the piano breakdown is fully introduced. When the climax finally hits, this one tears dancefloors apart for sure.

Remix honours come from LiftChain, who slows it down a little in his own style, blending it with a nice feel of retro Techtrance. A very different take on the original and a very nice addition to the release.

Enigma State returns to the label with a beautifully crafted retro trancer. 'Into the Nova' is pure trance as it should be. Mainly produced on hardware and with the sounds and structures from days past. This record checks all the boxes for the real trance lover.

It's not easy to establish yourself as a label these days, when your mission is to bring back the creativity and originality of past decades. A lot of producers simply moved on with the modern sounds and structures, which makes it hard to find tracks that stand out. 'Into the Nova' however, feels like a blueprint for our vision. A track that has the quality of a modern day production, but with a throwback feel woven into it. Even the remixes feel retro, bringing back Trance Breaks and a bit of the housy Clubtrance sound that has been absent for a while now.

As an extra, Enigma State adds his 'Enigmatic State Of Mind' mix to the release. This is the XXL version of the track, the director's cut. This remix tells the story as intended by the producer. The track builds from an intro, and reintroduces the use of a double breakdown, something very common in early day trance productions. This one isn't suitable for the quick transitions in a DJ-set, but if you want to take your crowd on a journey and tell a story with music, this one's for you!

We are extremely proud to present this package on Premier League Recordings, because we think this track, and the release in general, contains everything a trance record should have in our opinion.

The very first release of our label, a year ago, was the debut track of Mykynes, and a year after, Mykynes returns with 'For The Love Of An Angel'. An unconventional release tributing the trance classic 'For An Angel' by Paul Van Dyk, in name not in sound. In choice of instruments, arrangement and remixes, this release doesn't sound like anything currently available in the trance genre. And we love to be the odd label releasing this stuff.

Making his debut on the label is Dutch producer GeorD. His 'Away From Earth Remix' is anything you could wish for in a trance track. The remix contains an intro, breakbeats, thumping kicks and he uses a lot of elements from the original. However, GeorD proves to be an incredibly creative producer, delivering a 12(!) minute journey of a track, that is built in parts. His remix changes in tone and vibe several times, keeping the whole trip interesting. An incredible performance, and probably one of the most original records of 2020. Also, because of the smart way of building this remix, DJ's using cue points can easily select parts of the remix they find most interesting to play. But we do encourage to listen and play the whole thing!
