Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer, incredible cinematography and quite a difficult moment in history. It was a stand out movie for me in 2023 but the element that struck me the most was the soundtrack and it inspired me to focus more on things like melody, pacing and spectacle.

After watching a breakdown of how Ludwig Göransson wrote the famous piece "Can you hear the music" I took the central idea of ascending and descending scales and gave my own spin on it. But of course I had to make it CRUUUUUUUD

Usually I would have to stretch elements of his songs to fit 140 bpm but with having things in 5/4 175 they can stay as they are and I can write the drum patterns around them.
