Premiere: Kyle Zuck & Hypside - I Tried (Original Mix) | My Techno Weighs A Ton

Fresh off a successful Strangelove Recordings release, Not Not, based in San Diego is
returning to Rock Bottom Records to drop a 4 track EP that includes deep, funky and
techno house vibes wrapped into one release.
Starting off with Funky People, a 70’s inspired vocalized bass line drives the energy
forward with a catchy vocal hook on top. The second drop introduces a flute riff more
infectious than corona to ensure all “keep it moving.”
The B side flips the funk into a scandalous deep tune that will mesmerize any listener. If
“The Rolling Stones - Cant you hear me knocking” met house music and was about
getting into your passed out booty calls house rather than dealers house, Knockin would
be the love child. “Come on baby let me in,” whispered over a bouncy baseline and
trancey perc shots will motivate you to send the infamous “you up?” text.
Point Sets remix completely breaks down the originals song structure and puts a techno
low end underneath to make all funky people change into all black clothes. Chris Maze
out of Pittsburgh puts his signature bounce on the original while maintaining the sexy
tone to complement the vocals.

UK based DJ and producer, ODCEE, makes his debut on Strangelove this August with his brand new, 'Loop Seizure' EP. Since kickstarting his career in early 2019, he has since gained support from some of the most renowned names in the industry and with an impressive release catalogue to date on labels including Repopulate Mars, CUFF, Roush and Dusty Grooves, it's easy to see why the buzz around him is escalating. The 'Loop Seizure' EP offers the perfect blend of rattling hi-hats, warped synths, hypnotic vocal chants from Cami Jones on the lead track and wobbly acid bass lines that sit nicely alongside punchy drums and a grooving low-end.
