<b>dirtybird HATCHED (Part 3)</b>

Over the last seven years dirtybird has released an eclectic range of bass influenced house music. This new compilation is a glimpse into the next wave. 14 different artists deliver deep house, bass music, jackin funk, and ghetto filth. The series will be released in 3 parts and as a full length cd. 

HATCHED (Part 3) is the final installment of this compilation series and the final 4 tracks are some of the best. Catz 'n Dogz shake it to the ground with a booty-house anthem called "Bring Me That Water". These guys have been killing it on all fronts and this is one of their best efforts.  After that, Samuel Dan, who is part owner of the Spanish Sicopat label, delivers a slow cooked sexual scorcher called "Bitch". The track has a wide range of influences from 70's funk to the Grand Pubahs and is a sultry dancefloor bomb. Next comes a real leap for producer Tom Flynn with "Jerry's Liquor Store". He abandons the confines of tech house and goes huge with an effort referencing everything from Pearson Sound to old school Chicago raves. This is a battle tested party starter for sure. Lastly, we say farewell with the "Long Kiss Goodnight" from the up and coming Bay Area producer Nick Monaco. Nick has been really working hard to get on dirtybird and this track is reminiscent of the unusual (and funny) releases like "the Southern Draw" we used to do back in the day when we first started the label. Eli and Charlie of the amazing Boston based Soul Clap duo lend a helping hand editing the tune for the dance floor.

Markus Homm – What Do They Want (Remixes Chris Carrier , Alex Celler , Carlos Sanchez , Leo Leal & Adrian Garza) 
At an early age Markus Homm was inspired by the sounds that kept him dancing as an early teen. The Romanian born producer has made quite the impression on electronic music since then. Producing since 2006 often alone or with his production partner and fellow Romanian, Mihai Popovichu, Homm’s sound has translated into a unique style of dance music ranging from Deep House to Tech House. Among other collaborations is The Highgrade Disharmonic Orchestra, his latest live project, alongside label colleagues Tom Clark, Todd Bodine, and Dale und Daniel Dreier. The group made an amazing debut in the summer of 2010 at Watergate proving how Homm moves consistently forward and continues his playful exploration of the bond between music and body. 
With successful releases on various labels like Highgrade Records and Diynamic Music, Markus Homm’s Remixes EP on Unike Musik, follows up with 4 re-touches of his latest work for the label. New York’s Mexican Leo Leal & Guadalajara’s own Adrian Garzateam up for an international collaboration on Homm’s Key Frame. The duo’s dripping acid inspired remix reverberates dark bass sounds and pops in filtered doses of dreamy pads on top of glimmering effects. 
Next the french legend, Chris Carrier, takes over remix duties for Homm’s Keyframe Signal, a soaring infusion of polished analog sounds and spunky tech percussion. The Greek producer, turned Londoner, Alex Celler, supplies a stunning rendition of Take Off, as bumping bass and tonal toms ignite this widely deep mover and shaker. 8bit’s Carlos Sanchez polishes off the release with his take on What Do They Want, attracting fans of tougher sounds from the days of vinyl and stomping underground. 
Homm’s dedication and impact has inspired a multi faceted EP with remixes that continue this notorious producer’s legacy through a wide array of deep energy.

PREMIERE: Revlow - Deep Down [Hood Politics Records]

It’s only been one year since Ireland’s Rebuke put out his first release, yet his original sound has already catapulted him to the top of the class, and he makes his debut on Dirtybird with a two track EP, “Jump Ship”. 

The unique way Rebuke uses percussion alongside rolling bass and 90’s-era stabs on “Jump Ship” immediately grabbed our attention, and the cascading drums over the big bottom bass of “The Pipe” is a striking piece of music that won’t go unnoticed in any set.
