SLΛΛБ

Every time I fly, I come up with a couple of beats (or a full song) before I land. This time, I had around 8 hours to go from Reykjavik to Denver, so in between trying to sleep and watching obscure Islandic films, I created this using nothing but Beatmaker 2 for iOS on an iPad. 

Long or short, "good" or "bad", I finish before I land and post the sonic experiment as is. 

This one is called "Laugavegur". Those of who have been to Reykjavik will understand.

Laugavegur

Every time I travel in an airplane, I try to come up with a new beat, sound or song. This tune was created on the way to and from Bogotá, Colombia (on the 23rd of November and the 8 of December of 2013). It was created using only Beat Maker 2 app for iOS on my iPad.

Migretion

This song was entirely created using only KORG Gadget for iOS in a shuttle between my trips between the Austin and San Antonio Rackspace offices.

Rekki

This song was entirely created using the Nanostudio app on an iPad during my flights to and from Richmond, Virginia (from Austin, Texas). 

Part of my "a-song-per-flight" project: Every time I am traveling somewhere and I am flying for a couple of hours, I try to compose a song using nothing but my iPad and one (or more) of the many music-making app available for iOS. Good or bad; long or short; the goal is to start and finish the song before landing back home. The only thing I do once I leave the airplane is push it Soundcloud for everyone to listen.

This song was made using only the KORG Gadget app for iOS (iPad). It was created mostly during my regular commutes between Austin and San Antonio. It was slightly retouched during recent trips to Guadalajara and New York City.

Invertika

This track was created using only the KORG Gadget app on an iPad during a train ride from Montauto to Florence in Italy during the Summer of 2015.

TERME

This track was creating using only the KORG Gadget app for iPad. I can't particularly trace the origins of it. At some point earlier in 2015 I had started working on it, but had since abandoned it to finish the latest release "TERME".

MÆKER

"Phonic sketch note" made entirely with my iPad. No planning --strictly composed as it came to my mind.

This track was created from start to finish on a flight from New York to San Francisco, entirely on an iPad only using KORG Gadget 2.

D/RIDER

A downtempo electronica tune composed, arranged and produced only using an iPad (KORG Gadget).
