How do I explain that we did not make sense

Is to pretend that none of it exists at all

With this song I really tried to put myself in the mind frame of someone who just got out of a relationship, but isn’t necessarily upset with their former partner, and is instead more upset with with their self for letting themself grow away from the person they once loved so dearly.
