Song’s for Ana is really a short story about a girl, Ana, who’s struggling with addiction. The tracks are;
Letter from Ana- a short spoken work that opens the door for Ana’s world to feel like our own.
Maybe she’ll make it- this track its to remind us of how fun the party is but still feeling it from the outside.
She’s slippin’ away- this part of the story follows the fears and heartbreak that any family has to go through while loving someone who’s an addict.
I wrote this album to create more perspective for the addict themselves. I wanted the listener to feel as if Ana is their mother, sister, aunt, best friend, whatever… I just want more people to feel what Ana feels…
