[CONCEPT]
I came to realize that I've always been overwhelmed by my own thoughts and emotions. It seems that it’s been programmed to interrupt my concentration whatever I try. Living without taking care of your mind is like sailing on the ocean in a turbulent storm by a wooden raft. You can't be a procrastinator in taking care of your mind. With a little bit of courage and patience, calmly accept the existence of the clutter within your mind. It’s the first step to clearing up the raging storm of your thoughts and emotions.

I want to do a reharmonization with the vocal track here, meaning I will replace all the instruments and change the mood of the song by playing different chord extensions. The song is by the classic rock band, Petra, who are still alive today and I think touring often. It's from the album "More Power To Ya" (1982), a five-star album in my opinion.

sometimes I think that maybe it was a mistake to use the name Pa' Shot The Canary, but it's a bit like when you tell a little white lie, it spirals out of control, you get in too deep and then it all becomes irreversible and you are stuck with it. This is Me trying to kill him, in a nice way though.

The present is not always easy to understand. Sometimes it remains cryptic and mysterious. The music project Present Paradox tells about it. The result is melancholic as well as danceable. Wide and intimate at the same time. Diverse and yet familiar. In one word: Paradox.

The leading force behind Present Paradox is the songwriter and media artist David Kleinekottmann from Dortmund, Germany. Since 2013 he regularly releases LP's / EP's that oscillate between art-rock, electronica and ambient. Early on, former Cocteau Twins bassist Simon Raymonde expressed his enthusiasm on the British radio: "That's an exciting sound David is making!"*. And Thoralf Koß, chief editor of Musikreviews.de attests Present Paradox a fine "feeling for addictive melodies and poetic lyrics"*.

In 2016, David Kleinekottmann started to get the sound of Present Paradox EP's to the stages. Equipped with keyboard, guitar, sampler and a varied set, always ready to give everything on stage and to sink into the songs. The german concert critic Captain's Dinner wrote about the last performance shortly before the outbreak of the 2020 pandemic: "A project that has undoubtedly has international class and definitely deserves more attention"***.
