Mika Oki is a visual artist, Dj and producer born in Paris.

With a background in sculpture and electro-acoustic music, she explores the notion of intangible spaces and emotional landscapes through AV installations, music and mixes.

As a DJ, Mika Oki knows how to surprise the dance floor with a selection ranging from jungle, uk bass and gqom to dark electro, mesmerising trance and heavy EBM. By animating a wide range of voice samples, experimental sounds and electroacoustic music extracts, she plays like a sculptor with a duty to create an unsettling atmosphere.

This week's mix in the Rhythmic Culture podcast is delivered by Kincaid. With his forthcoming 'Don't Get No Sun EP' on Redstone Press and already a handful of releases on labels like Well St. Records, Banoffee Pies and Disco Halal, Kincaid can be considered an emerging name out of London's fertile scene that is just as fresh as it is exciting. In the 92-minute run he consistently weaves his way through rhythms in all shapes and forms, that seems to turnout in a perfectly balanced, well-controlled mix.
