‘The Pulse of Iron’ an apt reflection of modern progression into the unknown industrial world. It comes from Naarm based artist, Consulate who has found a home on Pure Space Records for our 10th label release. On this EP, Consulate delivers four tracks of dance music for the dystopian with a slick DnB sheen.

Rounding out the record is ‘Warlock’, a percussive track that proves the restraint Consulate has in his craft. Moody, sliced vocals skitter through delayed percussion creating a sense of tension. When it feels as though the storm is just about to hit, you are enveloped by fast-paced jungle breaks drawing you deeper into the eye of the storm.

Over the past five years, Fever AM has given us a steady drip of exquisitely modern, genre-defying club music, from angular rhythm sculptures like Gacha Bakradze's "Daraji" to twisted party-rockers like Rhyw's "Biggest Bully."

To celebrate their fifth anniversary, label founders Mor Elian and Rhyw have put together a compilation that captures their strikingly fresh vision. "It's Not a Bug, It's a Feature" presents core Fever AM artists like Xen Chron and Ayesha alongside a few newcomers to the label, such as Pariah, MSJY, Peder Mannerfelt. Fans of the label know what to expect: soundsystem-tailored bangers with a surreal twist, for DJs that like to keep the crowd on their toes.

Prolific producer Thugwidow, bestows his richly coloured and often renegade take on jungle and contemporary hardcore upon Badlands with Archetypical. Expertly crafting four crystalline cuts of thought-provoking and anthemic music that showcase his off-kilter structures, razor-sharp production and unpredictability to the max.

Having previously released with the likes of Western Lore, Astral Black, Sneaker Social Club and many more, Archetypical sees Thugwidow in a different headspace, crossing a threshold into unmapped territory as he toys with the listener's primal emotions. Delivering four pieces of rolling jungle euphoria, each one rich in melody, drenched in hypnotic vocals and powered from within by unshakeable programming and shape-shifting low end.

London based producer Vromm creates some wonderful beat science and future electronic jazz vibes on his debut recording for R&S Records.

With a penchant for UK bass and beats culture that has influenced him since the late 1980s, Vromm has released a steady stream of EPs over the last ten years for labels such as Critical Music, Over/Shadow, ThirtyOne Recordings and Om Unit’s Cosmic Bridge imprint.

On ‘Red Tuna’, Vromm opens a magic box of crunching breakbeat rhythms, dubwise reverberations and cold & jazzy synth licks for an impressively intelligent and modern track that dips into many electronic genres and becomes something truly unique.
