The 'Stone Cold EP' has been described by Jem One as an EP that shows the beginning of him and SR finding their individual strengths, and in turn learning how best to get them to compliment each other. That's resulted in a set of tracks covering a whole soundscape of world noises and atmospherics, with a backdrop of chunky breaks.

Not sure if it's the over-commercialization of everything, but I've been thinking about edits a lot lately. I used to make a ton of them and they were fun, but as they've become more and more the standard for what gets played out, I've more or less stopped making them.

When everything is an edit, what is the point. Do we really need another version of "My Neck, My Back"? Probably not, but here's two more. I feel like 'Some Edits & Shit' might add to that problem, but for me, it's really just turning a page and leaving some things behind.

Looking back, some of these are embarrassing, and some of them are really fucking cool. There is something to be said about allowing yourself to grow as a human while understanding that it is ok to come from a place. Even if that place feels embarrassing or alien years later. Maybe there was something interesting about the time or place or just the way I threw ideas together back then.

My only regret is not making a Creed edit. Maybe next time.
