You might not believe it but we actually were not planning to make an Asa remix. Let me walk you guys through how this song came to be

So Demii started a beat, it started out as a really nice arrangement of nice polyrhythms. When I asked him what he was up to, he was like (iono something for our set maybe) I was like (hmmm okay, it's sounding nice ooo, do you think there are any acapellas on our laptop that can work for this?) then I walk out of the room...

I walk in hours later and the song sounds totally different again, and there is an asa acappela we had originally prepped for one of our dj sets... On the beat and it sounded banging, but it was not quite married to the beat yet, and I was instantly inspired to join in the project. We added chords and Demii left me to it... 

(He thought he explained his vision of the song to me but he never did and me I just went with the flow), I worked on the song and added some things (I wasn't even sure he will like the direction I chose but I was hopeful)...

The next morning I play the jam for him, and he liked it but he laughed and said ( bruh this is so far off from what I thought you were gonna do but I love it... I have a couple ideas tho)... I was like (yea I knew you were going to say that) and then he goes on to make just a few changes and the song morphs once again

The final result is not anything close to what we thought we were trying to make, we weren't even trying to make a remix but here we are with a perfect third song for our holiday package for you amazing people out there in the world that fuck with our vibe.
