It's that time of the year. New remix competition. YAAAAY!!!!
First of all, I want to apologize to all of you who have been waiting the last year for me to release something new, I have a lot of half-baked ideas and they are pretty good in my opinion, but I want to dedicate the time it deserves to have a good result, and not something rushed just because, I promise you that this year there will be new songs.

Now, going back to the remix, WOW, at the beginning I had no intention of doing a remix, I feel it was a bit annoying that the guy who won last year, came back to just do a remix again, but thinking about it and reviewing the STEMS I realized that something interesting could come out, besides it's also a bit rude not to participate in the competition just because I won last year.

The remix was a bit complicated to do, when I started to do it just started a festival near my house so making music became much more complicated., then I got a cold for 1 week, and what I thought was going to be a 1 week remix took almost a month. At the beginning I wasn't sure what to do, but I knew it was going to be 2014 dubtep style. To be honest it's very satisfying to grab some virtual riot drum samples and stop worrying about the rest of the song, it just works.
The drop I wanted to make it as spectacular as possible, try to use a lot of pitch bends and other techniques that I haven't used much in my previous songs. I liked the result :3.

Most of the song was pretty easy to do, the ideas came by themselves, but the most complicated part and the one that took me 40% of the time to create the remix was the intro, my god the intro sounded horrible, no matter what melody I put it sounded bad, boring, out of tempo and many other things, until I could get to a point where I liked it, quite frustating ngl, but i liked how it sounds in the end.

Towards the end of the song I feel it sounds majestic and even though I've listened to my remix about 400 times, it still sounds beautiful, I don't think I'll get tired of listening to it for a long time.

Imma just make this short-
Hexa Vibes and octaneuro (2 close friends of mine) made another collab song together, called "Protection", and hosted a remix contest for it. I joined, submitted something and got 4th place (because this is barely even a remix, AGAIN 💀).
I will probably stop making remixes for a while because I suck at them and don't enjoy making them. It's also a pain in the ass to distribute them properly (especially with distrokid lol).

This project was for a contest hosted by Hexa Vibes (https://linktr.ee/hexavibes) called “genre shuffle contest” where everyone would give a genre to enter and then have 2 months to produce a random genre they were assigned from the list of entered genres. I was assigned “jump up” which is like “In The City” by Basstripper or the classic “Baddadan” by Chase and Status. As I was going I ended up listening to Tokyo Machines “Far Out VIP” for some reason and I wanted to make something like that for the second half. In the end I really enjoyed making this track, and I WON THE CONTEST!!! Props to everyone else who was a part of it, everyone did really well!!!
