'Aggelos first approached Lurid Music with the idea for this project a few months ago. We agreed on one condition, that all proceeds be donated to refugee causes, like we did with his Black Sea EP which supported the Syrian refugee crisis. When Russia invaded Ukraine, we decided our focus had to be helping the Ukrainian refugees who were forced to leave their homes in search of safe havens abroad.

We discussed this with most contributors to the project and the consensus was that donations should strictly go to humanitarian groups and not any armament funds. There were also some thoughts about helping conflict-affected peoples in other parts of the world but we decided it was too much to tackle for a relatively small project like this one.

Therefore, donations stemming from the sales of this release will be distributed to the following humanitarian groups currently active in Ukraine or neighboring countries welcoming refugees:

"One day in May 2021 I had the idea to compose a few pieces using only a cheap plastic workstation my neighbour had given me because it was just standing around. Besides some subtle field recordings of a warm summer day on a green meadow, all sounds came from the samples of this little keyboard. �
'One Day In May' happened on the 23.05.21 and reflects of the lightness and beauty such a Sunday can have. Sometimes one can still feel melancholic on such a day, even if one sees the birds flying through the blue sky and the warm rays of the sun touch one's face. This little lullaby for lazy afternoons is quite important to me as it reflects on both sides, the open bright space of light and the dark room inside of us."

Born in Milan to a Cameroonese father and a Polish/Lithuanian mother, Nathan Dawidowicz moved at the age of 6 to Jerusalem. He was spending his childhood in a Jewish ultra-orthodox environment playing the piano and dreaming of being a Fashion designer and musician. After waking up from the reality he was raised in, he moved to Venice and started to explore the “outside world” of the mental barriers of religion. Music and fashion were his medicine, and he quickly became addicted to musical textures and vinyl. His love for music brought him quickly to Berlin, where he currently lives and loves. 

Sanctuary Of Ideas is a very personal and optimistic journey by Nathan Dawidowicz. His first solo album is a spiritual path, as cosmic and adventurous as Nathan`s trajectory, with beautiful twists and psychedelic twirls into Dawidowicz’s personal rabbit hole. A record full of memories and positive affirmations, filled with Jazzy yet psychedelic Cosmic and Krautrock elements. A fusion of inspiration - and a perfect reflection of Dawidowicz’s heritage. 

Idea`s Eve is a stargate to our ancestral power. The source of our inspiration is connected to our past - to the spirits of our ancient memories. Dawidowicz leaves a lot of space to breathe in this magical opener. Enchanting melodies and bubbling sounds surround the listener while his voice keeps repeating a mantra of an ancient love spell. A track where you feel your DNA spiraling up the ladder of evolution. Yet so natural and healing. 

Full Moon Dance is the spiritual continuation of the first track. A swirl of magical melodies, yet jazzy but truly cosmic walking up the ladder to another dimension, where warm moon rays and fluffy clouds surround love. The synth lines represent the playful and smooth moon rays reflected on a rhythmical heart-beating ground where tears can be joyfully spent to honor the emotions we usually oppress. 

To close the EP, Nathan Dawidowicz worked a half a year to finalize the last track in full detail. 23 Minutes and 18 Seconds long is the Capricorn Rising Over Jerusalemite Temple. This story is where the listener is brought to a higher level of consciousness. Against the rules of our consumerist world, Nathan Dawidowicz focuses on a dramaturgy full of patience for our own lifetime. Acidic lines come and go, powerful synth solos trigger unknown brain parts, and an epic melody accompanies the listener and lets dark emotions melt in a brass-filled part where a voice tells us that time is on our side. The song ends with an epic twist and promises a new start, where our most lovely memories stay in a vortex of light. Beam me up Nathan.

Records are back with another awesome reissue, this time with "Le Disque De l'Art Gué", a 10-track compilation, highlighting the avant-garde and dreamlike work of Swiss Artist Fizzè. In between medieval ballad, acoustic industrial and psychedelic world music, the reissue includes original tracks from "Kulu Hatha Mamnua" and "Manoeuvres d'Automne" albums released in 1987, along with unreleased materials and remixes by Fizzè.

A nap session, post-punk, 80’s songs and synthetic anthems that purr with tender melancholy and caress the sweetness of lost and rediscovered times. Unearthed by https://soundcloud.com/obermannkind this LP contains six underground electronic, minimal synth, proto techno & new wave songs of an lost obscure German Tape from 1986. Produced in Münster West Germany, just 50 Tapes were distributed and just a handful are still alive. 
Thanks a lot to Dunkeltier aka https://soundcloud.com/sneakerdj who restored all the tracks. It was really tough job. Even the mastertapes (directly from Mr. Gotling) were in really bad condition.

I had this dream - I could hear the galloping coming my way. The dark knights of the soul, riders of the realm. They were coming to present me a coin, a choice, "heads or tails?"... "Headz", I said. With a flick of a thumb, the coin spiraled into the air in slow motion. In a state of suspended time, the coin revealed that it had many sides and perspectives, so many beyond heads and tails - almost infinity like. It continued to spin, like a Rodolex, demonstrating every possibility for what felt like an eternity. Transfixed, I stared as it went from slow to fast, so fast at this point that it formed into a black sphere. I put my palm out underneath it, which is when they told me, "the world comes from shadow... with precision." The coin landed in my palm and I clenched my fist. I awoke instantly. I never saw which way that coin landed! My laptop was next to me, and 'Blue Flowers' by Doctor Octagon was playing on Youtube - Nipuna

As the founder of the band Metastavy or the keyboard player for the group Čáry Života, Anička is well known for her wide musical spectrum on the horizon of the Czech music scene. Up the ground or underground, she highlights every day of ours, when catching her busking on the streets, jamming in Wildt or playing a concert on her dusty Persian carpet. Her style wanders from harmonic grooves, through jazzy smoke to unforgivable rap lines with which she lets the sun, shine brighter by every time she moves a finger or rises her voice.
For this special occasion, she explored the depths of the musical eter and put together this wonderful and trippy sound pria-collage, sewed together from plenty recordings collected through out the members 
of the Priaum club.
