Ta-Ka started off as an attempt to make a highly intellectual, highbrow piece of music and has, instead, become an unlikely emotional outlet. Ta-Ka has since morphed itself into a piece that creates its own personal aural world of reflection and development. The text is made up of a self-created system of rhythmic syllables similar to "takadimi." The voices and strings are meant to portray a stark contrast between being intensely percussive and lyrically drifting over each other. It is in this same vein of thought that Ta-Ka has become amusement coexisting with thoughtfulness.

Regina Spektor playing an own version of No Surprises, originally performed by Radiohead, which can be found on the album OK Computer (1997).

This is a second cover done by Regina Spektor, performed and recorded in the Triple J studios, affiliated with ABC.

My opinion and some info about this song:
This second version is less true to the original, and has more of a personal touch compared to the first.
No surprises being a silent though desperate plea for silence, for escaping all the mess in life, Regina elegantly captures this feeling, and her comforting and understanding voice resonates with the frustrations and fatigue in all of us.
 
Radiohead and Regina Spektor both make amazing music, and any one who respects music shouldn't compare these one-dimensionally by suggesting that there's a better version.
There's a subtle difference in how the songs resonates with our feelings, and what specific mood it brings us in. Both however, are brilliant in capturing a complex but strong feeling.
I recommend checking out both artists and their albums. These are one of those few artists who are consistent in their quality:
