We’re happy here to bring @DJ_SAMWISE into the series — a long-standing, quietly evolving connection that has travelled across continents and now, at last, finds a tangible form in sound. For some he may still be a lesser-known figure, yet many will already be familiar with the warm presence  working behind some  influential projects such as @FASTATWORK or Life and Death.

“This mix reflects one of those pure ‘bursting at the seams’ moments — recorded on a whim at my home in Echo Park LA without any planning or thought before, it kinda felt important for some reason. It is very pure Samwise energy, moving from solid cheeky foundations into nostalgic textures. This is something I have realized I need to express, with 0 agenda or goal except creative expression itself. Fuck it, right? Super grateful to Alex and KANN (truly one of my favorite labels) for releasing this. Enjoy!”

For the next Far Blue concept we are happy to share this 90 minutes all vinyl mix by our dear Hervé. Someone we are proud to truly call a friend.  Besides being one of the driving forces behind Polychrome Audio, he also co-runs Noordspace where we have the honor to host our intimate club nights. But on top of this, Hervé is a very talented DJ who puts all of his emotion and passion into every set he plays. Most recently, this has brought him to his Panorama Bar debut last weekend.

"This mix was recorded in a single take at home while unpacking my Panorama Bar record bags. No set track list, simply feelings and music that touches me. The way I like it best. A dance record selection oscillating between float, depth and drive. Some sounds that evoke Far Blue to me. Hope that you enjoy it! 🩰"
