Another Month Another Above Average ! 

This session is coming straight from Lyon, France, where we’re showcasing the incredible electronic producer duo, Primal Wakin! They've crafted an amazing set filled with beautiful tunes that will take you on a journey to kick off your weekend and keep the vibes flowing! Primal Wakin made their debut with the EP *Renaissance*, followed by the single *Teahupoo*, signed to Wabisabi. More recently, they released *Renaissance Remixes*, featuring remixes by artists like Ferry Tale, Noaa, Novopole, Dana Fakhoury, and Minorah. 

Let's Kick off the weekend together with some Above Average Vibes !

More about PRIMAL WAKIN: 

In June 2019, Wakin met PrimaL at a charity event dedicated to the latter's son. Both men found out they were sharing the same passion for electronic music by Christian Löffler, Stephan Bodzin as well as Laurent Garnier. 

PrimaL has always been fascinated by music and the emotions it conveys, thus he is particularly fond of ethnic and organic sounds. That is why he started to add Kalimba and Sansula sonorities to his compositions. Through music, he has been able to respond to a deep need as well as reach an unprecedented artistic synergy with Wakin. For his part, Wakin is one of Ludovic Hautevelle's numerous facets. Indeed, driven by various projects in film score, trip-hop, folk- rock and Techno, which has been his favourite style for a good twenty years, with some influence from artists such as Rodriguez Jr. and Booka Shade, with whom he had the opportunity to perform at the Family Piknik festival. Thanks to the peculiarity of his live performance, privileged field of expression to demonstrate the endless creativity of this studio addict and perfectionist at heart, he was spotted by the Clubbing TV Channel. 

It goes without saying that the track 'In Charles' Memory' will be the first from their joint discography PrimaL Wakin. Over many kind of jam sessions, PrimaL and Wakin's desire to write has become stronger. Their creative process, based on improvisation, feeling and the live recording of tracks, has then allowed a redeeming artistic freedom.
