It is with great excitement that we receive one of our long time heroes to the Primary Family. Rising from the shadows is the one and the only Dean DeCosta. Thought to have left the fellowship, Apparition, while surprised to hear Deans calling. is familiar with his energy.

A more aggressive interpretation is adopted for the crossing over. Apparition attempts to break the line. Struggling to take breath with its Grittier. darker. distorted frequencies it continues to form as the energy builds.

It was early 2013 when inner landscapes finally got
audible. Martin van Rossum aka Martin Nonstatic
moved to Cologne while Jens from Essen sent a
pleasant release offer. Several EPs, remix and
packaging projects got finished and the favorite
synthesizer was back on duty again, leading to the
first track „Inner Landscapes“ which in turn also
provided the album's title.
Martin took 14 months scrutinizing his workflow
involving both software and hardware to invent fresh
track concepts for his album. Constantly inspired by
the Rhenish environment with all of its movements
and encounters the album concentrated on those
„inner landscapes“. Playful and liberated he
combined field recordings with soundscapes, voices
and nature sounds into deep sequence paths.
Wave noises and Indonesian voices trickle onto the
album’s opening track „Behind The Window“ and the
dub oriented „Gilli Nangu“ while a fine dusty
crackle meets deep dub chords and sonic ideas
salvaged from earlier live sessions and synthesizer
recordings throughout the album, supported by
electro-ambient and minimal beat structures and
alternating rhythmic patterns, clearly showcasing
Martin’s extensive experience of both analyzing and
producing ambient and dub techno sounds.
Embedded between its otherworldly opening and a
dreamy outro are 11 aural landscapes forming a 74
minute tour-de-force, and after its long production
phase the emotional waveforms and clear ideas of
Martin Nonstatic’s „Inner Landscapes“ have finally
found their place and are ready to be heard on the
outside.

Liuos seemed to arrive on the dub techno scene all at once with Terms EP, his strong debut on Cold Tear Records, but this was the culmination of two decades of experimentation and discipline. A unique mix of power and spaciousness, of both longing and will, Liuos’ work stands out for its clarity and expansiveness. Working steadily from his modest studio in Finland, Liuos has quietly become a respected name in the world of dub techno, with releases on Cold Tear Records, Superordinate Dub Waves and Piranha Siberia Dub.

They simply called it “The Laboratory.” There were no windows — only the hum of life-support systems and aquariums filled with lifeforms that defied classification. On evenings like this, Spacelunch would tune the setup, Cat would yank out unnecessary cables with his tail, and everything would freeze in anticipation of the signal. A deep, steady mix filled the space, seeping into reservoirs, consoles, and whispering sensors. Something flared, something trembled — as if the environment itself was trying to synchronize with the rhythm. Later, a new chapter would appear in the Professor’s log: “Sample 93.”

Biography: 
Brickman creates music at the crossroads of dub techno, deep house, and ambient. His sound is built on multilayered textures, dub-style echoes and reverbs, electronic rhythms, and powerful sub-bass foundations — forming a distinctive sonic signature. 

The project’s debut release came out in 2010 on Symphonic Silence Inside. Since then, Brickman has collaborated with both Russian and European labels, putting out music on vinyl, CD, and digital platforms. His tracks have been supported in DJ sets by John Digweed, Marco Carola, Hernan Cattaneo, Deepchord, Kirk Degiorgio, and Nadja Lind.

Between 2010 and 2019, Brickman performed live extensively at St. Petersburg venues such as Stackenshneider, Mosaique, Efir, Griboedov, MOD, and Berthold Center, as well as on RTS.FM and Vinyl Jam broadcasts, and at festivals including Abstraction and VPEREDSOMOTRYASHCHIY. He also took part in the Red Bull Music Academy Bass Camp and composed soundscapes for several art exhibitions.

Since 2022, the project has focused on studio work. To craft his signature sound, Brickman employs both analog and digital synthesizers, samplers, and diverse audio processing techniques.
