Andrey Sorozhkin aka Primat is one of the legendary names in house music in Saint Petersburg. He began his career back in 1995 with the underground party in Art Clinic at the cult art place at Pushkinskya 10. Then he was a resident of the famous Saint-Petersburg clubs Par.spb, Mama and Red Club, in parallel touring around Russia, CIS countries and Europe. In 2004, together with his peer electronic musician Koyla he created live project Right2Dance (Koyla & Matpri) which explored more experimental sound of dance electronic music.
Today Primat is a resident of Saint Petersburg club Stackenschneider and their famous Sonnabende the regular parties that are very popular with this club.
Having started with the garage house 20 years ago and then having come a long way through the 2-step and UK garage, and then Chicago jacking house, Andrey now came at the end to the dry sound of minimal tech house.
Under the names of Primat and DJ Primat, Andrey released about a hundred tracks and remixes on such labels as iTech Sound System, Mojear Records, Kootz Music, Parallel Music, Voltaire Music, Recovery Tech, Up To Loft, Asymmetric Dip, Electronica, Manali Records, Bombay Records, Modifi Grooves and the famous New York Nite Grooves.
Excellent and always fresh approach to modern electronic music helps Andrey give unforgettable moments on the dance floor to the public for more than two decades.

Андрей Primat - один из специалистов по хаус-музыке из Санкт-Петербурга, начавший свою карьеру в 1995 году с подпольных тусовок в Арт-Клинике на культовой Пушкинской, 10. Его музыкальный вкус формировался под влиянием классического чикагского хауса с вкраплениями джаза и хип-хопа. 
Primat является одним из участников лайв-проекта "Morninglasses" (ex Right2Dance ).
Андрей Primat, успел побывать с гастролями во многих странах Европы. Был замечен в Англии, Австрии, Финляндии, Эстонии, Латвии, Литве, Израиле, Украине и Аджарии.
