Based on the Markov Chain probability analysis of Pachelbel's canon using a patch I developed in Max msp. The raw information came out sounding very organic I then shaped, pruned and arranged it to its present for. *NOTE This is just a midi file demo without correct dynamics or articulation for the strings. Will be recorded at my recital with string quartet on the 28th of November(Monday 7pm Music Auditorium WAAPA)

A piece for the Yamaha Disklavier (computer operated grand piano) written for W.A.A.P.A's Conlon Nancarrow Tribute night, which it won the award for.  

Teras (Vouris 2012)

A canon, a mutant, a monster and a malign growth that feeds itself.
In 'Teras' forms and shapes are created by pitch intervals that draw out lines, contours and rhythmic formations to explore textural possibilities on the Disklavier. By treating each octave as a separate voice with its own contrasting and shifting measure. Each part  phases in and out to open up and reveal different sound colours, shifting like teutonic plates in a mass of sound.
