How long have you been creating music?
SUBTINGZ: It’s been 4 or 5 years. I really sucked in the beginning and it took some time to understand how to create.

What inspired you to write the track released with us?
SUBTINGZ: When I made this track, I really didn’t know what it was gonna sound like. The whole track is a sound design experiment which, by luck, came to life. And, I love Bojack Horseman.

What do you use to make your music?
SUBTINGZ: Ableton 10, Serum, Massive, Kontakt, Reaktor.

Where, and when, did you first discover Prime Audio?
SUBTINGZ: I discovered Prime Audio on SoundCloud with the tune “Oedeon” by Oolacile. It felt like I discovered “real dubstep” haha.

What are your current challenges as a producer/DJ?
SUBTINGZ: I want to be part of the rebirth of bass music in the South of France. If French producers are reading this, they know it’s a true challenge.

What are some things you are looking forward to this year?
SUBTINGZ: More releases and shows.

Who would you say is your biggest inspiration?
SUBTINGZ: Svdden Death and my mom.

What’s one thing on your list you want to do before you die?
SUBTINGZ: I really would like to have a Melbourne Bounce alias to do easy bumpy stuff, be booked at Tomorrowland and then play Thulsa Doom by Nacha in front of thousands of people who are clearly not expecting that.
