No matter where you are in society hard drugs unfortunately plague a lot of families in communities.

In the 1990's Independence, MO was labeled at the Meth Capital of America.  Growing up in the area and in around I saw and heard many stories of people impacted by Meth.  The lyrics in it are inspired by people I know who are fighting for their community.  

Too often we demonize addicts.  In hiphop there is almost a certain level of praise given to people claiming to deal hard drugs such as coke or meth.  I understand the entertainment value of it but in truth for people in and around hard drug distribution it is not something that many want to be part of.
