Chami and OPH are a part-time double act with roots in Lyon and a more recent base in Berlin. Fully integrated in their local scene, the pair have expanded their love of records to furtive raves on the outskirts of town (Minijob). Under the moniker Face 2 Face they play very literally one in front of the other, with a four turntable, two mixer set up, dogged passion and a little faith that kismet will devise whatever sound it may. A mirror framework that cultivates subconscious dialogue between the two and their crowd by extension  Together they proffer a world that’s as stimulating as it is fast-paced; it’s deep, repetitive, ritualistic techno with a magnetic pull that’s hard to deny, at once cerebral and groovy. This twin flame has lit up floors from Paris’ La Station to Tokyo’s Womb, with a Bassiani performance back in October. Here, for a very special Bassiani Podcast 215, the duo band together once more and tell a 90 minute tale that twists and turns in unexpected ways, one that’s every bit the raw and potent sound they’re known for. Formidable techno that’s quick as a flash and doesn’t waste a second messing around.

@transmigration_records is a Berlin-based record label and archive dedicated to reissuing temporarily lost or forgotten psychedelic electronic music.

Founded in 2022 by Irish DJ David Fogarty, the label has since gathered momentum and recognition for breathing new life into niche catalogues – often forgotten ambient and trance records from the ’90s – through careful restoration and presentation to new audiences.

Like many of the best record labels, Transmigration’s output is reflective of what you might hear in one of David’s DJ sets. Drawing from a wide-ranging record collection, he occupies a unique space that blends the deeper ends of house, techno, and trance, in a way that appeals to both large audiences and hardcore music nerds alike.

We caught up with David to talk shop on the story behind Transmigrations, and what it’s like running an independent label in 2025.

Throughout the years, Detroit-born Berlin-based groove operator and Tresor / Globus resident Eric Cloutier has been honing and refining his palette as both a producer and a DJ. Not one to engage in dogmatic restraint, Cloutier keeps developing his vision through carefully curated selections and an equally impeccable mixing technique. Boasting the variety and precision of his releases for his own imprint Palinoia, the present mix was recorded live at The Chinese Laundry in Sydney last year. Playing the main room open-to-close, Cloutier put together this mix as an evolving story and, much like the crowd of that night which proved highly receptive to the narrative, we hope this one will resonate with you. A most exquisitely complex and deep-diving plunge into Cloutier’s shape-shifting headspace, alternating heavyweight punch and dubbed-out minimalism with swashes of textured membranes and faux-organic, modular-like intricacies, this mix is as elusively impossible to pigeonhole as it proves sophisticated in its design.
