As one of the stand our emergents of 2018, it’s safe to say that Exeter’s @harrytremlett is hot on a lot of radars right now. We are thrilled to have him involved with the Bass Invaders project alongside hosting the long awaited release of his highly celebrated ‘Brain Food’ original. For us this one is an absolute corker, taking a more techy stripped back route in It’s composition, dipping between subtle sub bass LFO movements and lively synthesizer splashes alongside charming breaksy bridges and catchy high end percussive melodies. Harry has certainly gifted us with this one!

It sure has been a long time coming, but the time has finally come for the legendary Hybrid Theory to launch their own self-titled imprint, giving them the opportunity to showcase the best of their now extensive catalogue. As one of the most decorated outfits in UK bass music, it is most certainly an exciting time to be involved with the Hybrid Theory sound, kicking off with an absolutely killer debut release.

To launch the new label, the duo have assembled a pair of powerful original creations for us all to enjoy, focussing in on modernized bass music themes and dancefloor-ready rhythms. 

The title track rolls out first, which takes the name ‘Take Flight’, alongside the high energy vocal displays of SG, an MC whose party-starting vibes provide an excellent assist. This one is dripping in smartly designed synth riffs and smoothened drum slaps, rendering it a real lift off riddim. 

On the flip-side we are introduced to another scorcher as ‘Gotti’ lands with another bag-full of rave energy. This one takes us down a more distorted path, driven by it’s choppy yet thoroughly energetic drum arrangements, topped with a pair of grizzly synthesizer displays, giving us the perfect balance. These are two must haves for any basshead!
