Confusion presents his first 12 track album on their own Raserei imprint with an extended catalogue of club tools, breaks and three complementing remixes. “Crypto” sets the tone of the release with typical moving bleeps while the title track “Too Late” continues with highly effective drums and synth work. Getting deeper into the album, the sharp drums of “Escape” mark the impact of this collection and “Eleven” turns the vibe to far-reaching perspectives with a spaced-out pad. “Full Mess” completes the original work with mental closing emotions and another IDM-ish break version. Three highly effective remix rollers by LYRIC, Hedström & Pflug and Recursion complete the album.

Confusion - Alpha (Original Mix)

Part 1 of the Unissued Series is the start of a series of releases that focuses on releasing older projects as well as new projects that I am working on in the studio. The idea behind this self-release series is to give my music a platform to speak for itself, both in terms of my creative output and artistic vision. 

One of the main motivations behind this concept was to take back more control of how I truly want to represent myself as an artist. In art, oneself, as the artist, is and should be one's biggest critic as well as one's biggest admirer or fan. In the end, creating art, for me at least, is a form of pure self-expression. By taking more control over my creative output, I seek to further engage in the relationship I have with myself and create the space necessary for further musical exploration. 

Unissued Series Part 1, marks the first of many self releases coming this year. Ranging from straight forward techno cuts to experimental ambient pieces.

Hailing from the current capital of craziness, Dommie's debut EP, “Cutting Through,” introduces a distinctively refined and immersive psychedelic palette, engineered for modern dance floors yet rich with textural depth. Conceived as a cohesive auditory journey, it weaves driving, hypnotic groove with subtle, unpredictable turns, creating a captivating and subtly disorienting atmosphere. This confident first statement showcases Dommie's skill in crafting nuanced electronic landscapes that reward close listening. Premiered here, the title track is where the thesis crystallises into a mesmeric, floor-focused reality. A lean, insistent house pulse provides the skeletal drive, but the soul of the piece lies in its lush, psychedelic detail. Above the minimal groove, arpeggiated synth layers emerge not as rigid sequences, but as something fluid and alive – a cascade of liquid electricity that pools, spirals, and gently dissolves the edges of the rhythm. This is the sound of a focused mind in a state of elegant distortion, crafting a trippy, ever-shifting topography within the four-four framework. It’s functional gear for the nightclub's heartbeat, polished until it becomes a portal.
