Producer Edmundo Valencia, known as Primos Freaks, has strived for a unique path within electronic dance music, often moving away from the traditional EDM scene. Primos Freaks' style isn't limited to one genre; it can be unconventional and raw, drawing from electro, post-disco, and Italo disco, or innovative and modern, blending diverse samples from everyday sounds. In the album "Solstitium," the title track skillfully combines the precision of techno with irresistible rhythms, resulting in a melodic and captivating fusion of deep, tech, and avant-garde elements woven into ambient-like sonic landscapes. The album is partly inspired by the cyberpunk novel "La Primera Calle de la Soledad" and aims to capture Valencia's vision of the lunar cities Tranquility and Tycho. Additionally, the album includes a remix of the previously released track "Makina."
