#challengeaccepted: Alive is a project that aims at raising awareness to the increasing amount of violence that women+ face in different forms in their daily lives. In Turkey, more and more women+ are facing brutal forms of misogyny every day, facing harassment on a daily basis; rapes and femicides are being normalized by the current system and these kinds of violence are becoming a normal state where women feel themselves even more helpless under the law.

Just as many of the human activities, experiencing music is a shared form of action that has a strong cultural interest with the cultural background of the society one belongs to. As an expression and a manifestation, electronic music has a connecting as well as antithetical strength that mostly shade into a form of becoming one. In that regard we band together as artists from Turkey and from all over the world to break the silence. We are inviting everyone to stand in solidarity with women in their struggle.

100% of the collected funds will be donated to Mor Çatı Women’s Shelter Foundation.
