​When you think of Chicago, you may think of Harold’s Chicken, Kanye West, or the beautiful Lake Michigan. Maybe, you may think of the gangs and gun violence that has covered national news. Well there is a new talk of the town and he is no one other than Prince Ace, Chicago’s Prince of the city.
​Prince Ace, born Andre S. Laster Jr. on December 02, 1984, is an independent artist born and raised in Chicago who has taken over the underground scene and is on the rise to become a true star.
“From an early age I’ve always loved music. My brother was a DJ and my uncles, aunties, and parents were always playing music. All of this made my passion for music grow as a child”.
Prince Ace’s newly released single “No Tomorrow” has Chicago on their feet. This up-tempo record has all of the underground ready to relax and hit the party scene like its “No Tomorrow”. Another lead single from Prince Ace’s catalog shows his ambitions to help not only his team grow, but the entire city of Chicago. “For the Squad” is another up-tempo record from the Prince’s empire that has captured the underground’s attention.
“I want to be able to help not only myself but those closest to me and around me. That is why I made the song “For the Squad”. You aren’t just supporting a person, you are supporting a movement that goes beyond just music. You are supporting dreams and ideas and helping a genre of music get back to the lyrics. I want to make great music that makes you feel good and fall in love with a song or music all over again.”
Growing up, records by DMX, LL Cool J, Ja Rule, T.I., 2pac and Biggie were the records that made Prince Ace fall in love with music. These artist inspire Prince Ace to make the great music he makes today.
