Prince Bellerose is an indie power trio consisting of Valentin Prince (picnic.), Joseph Harder (Babe Lewis) and Daniel Bellerose (Hey, beautiful, Happy Happy). Their debut album, BLUSH, marks the band’s first step into embracing their less traditional influences. Taking inspiration from Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Tame Impala, and others in the synth-drenched realm of indie psych, Prince Bellerose presents Rock smudged with a distinct air of laziness. With tracks written and produced by each of the three band members, the album knowingly nods to the respective futures of each member’s solo project. Produced by Illiterate Light’s Jake Cochran, and birthed in an atmosphere of sheer chaos, BLUSH is a bizzare-yet-lovable sonic experience.
