Final Songwriting submission for my 2nd Year of Uni.
This was hard to do as for the majority of the project I had no ideas what-so-ever, but remembering that I'd written this in the previous term, I shortened the original mix & recorded some vocals in order to make it worthy of submitting for coursework purposes.

I aim to have proper screaming on the final 8 minuet version, which means that it won't be just me on the song. Hope you enjoy this anyway, I'm handing it in today! (06/05/14)

Ancestors (Short Version)

Latest track that I am majorly proud of, the finishing touches were the harmonies under the chorus which really makes the chorus come to life.

The album this is from, is really coming to fruition now. I'm so close to recording everything, then I'll master the tracks & release it on my BandCamp.

Please tell me what you think of this as I'm going to be listening to it for weeks, as I think it's rather catchy :D

Show & Tell (Just One Night)

The newest track from a collaborative project back in my First year of uni during my Ensembles unit, I wrote this song as a duet for a band to play as part of the coursework & only recently have wanted to do a studio version for this album.

It features the wonderful Yolanta Boti on lead vocals & I don't honestly think I'll top this song in the future. She came over for an evening and put such dedication into making sure I got the best out of her that she could manage.

"But why should we listen to yours, when we could just listen to the original (which is amazing!)?" I hear you ask, which I'll admit is a very good question...one that I don't have an answer to.

INSTEAD I shall respond with a question of my own, "Why not listen to both?"

I know it's just a cover, but the truth is; I make all my music myself, using equipment that supports me in trying to enter the Music Industry(That means no other person helps me)
...and I like it that way because, through covers especially, I can show my appreciation of the original track & the industry itself.

Hello - Prince Pheonix (in the style of Adele)

On request of a student at work, I have made this;

I'm not one to normally do requests but they assured me that I'd sound pretty good covering 'Stitches' & I'm actually impressed with how well the song suited my voice.

I'm aware that certain parts of the song do not sound anywhere near close to the original, but my covers are not trying to replace the original, just add an alternative twist to it.

With that said, I hope you enjoy this cover. The next one out will be Unkiss Me by Maroon 5, I promise! ;)

I have finally finished this cover to a standard I'm happy with, it's only taken me two months :D but I did have other things going on at the same time. Still, I'm sorry it's taken so long, and I really hope the wait was worth it.

Adam Levine sings so high too, I had to do a lot of warming up to reach the notes, which would leave me with very little time to record the vocal takes.

Anyway, I'm not sure what my next cover will be, but I am enjoying the idea of something recent. So as always, watch this space & enjoy! <3

The latest original piece of work from me. Felt like I'd upload here first as I have no artwork for this yet. ^^;

I might open it up to any other creation-y people who fancy making some artwork for this single. And if I really like the work, then maybe an album might come from this further down the line.

Just made it longer than the previous version as I thought it was so good it needed to be longer :P
It's only the chorus of Shackles by Mary Mary, but it's my interpretation :D

I was recently in the band for a Musical Theatre group at Uni and this song was the one that connected with me most during the short time I was playing the music, So I thought I'd give it a go and sing it myself as it's such a nice song.

Prince Pheonix, also known as Richard Stanley was born in Chester, United Kingdom on the 6th of March 1993 and began writing music when He was only 12 years old. He started his music interest by learning to play the Violin but didn't feel that was expressive enough for His emotional needs and began to learn the Keyboard, at the advice of his keyboard teacher, He switched to the piano and His muse was found , doing His gradings He reached grade 3 but had to stop due to GCSE’s, never continuing the grades after that, He turned to writing his own music, starting His first album “Birth Of The Bird” near the time of His grandmothers passing and having feelings of rebellion against most things his first album consisted of songs based on real life events that happened to Him in the year of 2008 later songs being finished in 2009 having the album recorded in 2010 when He obtained apple related computers and software, later albums followed this style of writing as the songs He produced seemed to be full of emotion as they were more stories than just songs, His latest album “The Man Behind The Music” shows all three parts of His life joined into one and is currently being written and recorded.
