Princess Julia’s club career spans over 40yrs to the present day Princess Julia spends her time multi tasking within the realms of DJing, writing, curating and exploring various artistic practices. ‘I used to think I should concentrate on one area but over time have realised that my talents lie in merging different forms of expression, self and otherwise’.
At is 65 years old Princess Julia was part of the New Romantic movement in the late 70’s. She is an integral part of London counterculture through the decades including involvement at historic club nights such as Leigh Bowery’s Taboo, resident dj at Kinky Gerlinky, the rave scene of the 90’s including Flesh at the Hacienda. Clubs in the 00’s including The Ghetto. She continues to be an active member of the lgbtq+ club, art and fashion  scenes.
Her current regular dj residencies include The Divine, Dalston Superstore, Feel It! Guest dj spots include the National Portrait Gallery, Pride London, Acne, Fat Tony’s Full Fat, Opia, Riposte, Wraith, Isamaya Ffrench, SS Daley, Frieze party’s & Horsemeat Disco to name just a few.
Muse, model and inspiration Princess Julia is cited as an icon.
