A funky feel-good little stellarsonic that me and Derrick McKenzie got all HOXXXED up over back in 2008 when we did a little collaboration. Injecting the releasing Rare Groove romps and sprinkling a touch of Teena Marie-esque Freesian funk and McKenzian Summer Soul, Je T'Adore is a tantaliSING cocktail of reFREESHing beats and delicious lyrical lashings! Derrick is a fabulous producer and writer himself and I very much enjoyed HOXXXing all over this shix!

I first met my soulful stellarsonic "Partner In Chime" (Soulpersona) back in 2006 when I was studying A Bachelor Of Popular Music Degree in my Honours year at Griffith University on Australia's Gold Coast. He found me through Myspace and thought my style was "off the chain" so he sent over a track for me to give a geeze that was to become the saucy slow-steppin' "Candy Wrapper". After he'd heard it, loved it, and wanted to continue this international digital dalliance, our creative collaborations expanded into a full-blown MUSEical relationship that would see me transfer to UKingdom's shores to further pursue my career... and to meet Soulpersona for the very first time, 5 years later!

I hope you enjoy pepper-peeping these as much as I thoroughly revelled in co-birthing them. The fated collision of Freesh and SoulP was destined to change my life forever, in only the HOXXXIEST ways! :)

For those who ain't pepper-peeped my debut self-produced album "The Rainbow Ride", here's a "sneaky peacock" sample of the bonus track entitled "Captain Luck". It's all about me coming to the UKingdom, showing what I've got and not wanting to leave the country... I fell in love with the UK, whom I affectionately refer to as "Captain Luck" :)

I hope there is a miraculous way in which I can come back after my visa expires in November and live here indefinitely! Freesia will hope for such a HOXXXY outcome! ;) xxx

Freesia

Princess Freesia is a singer, songwriter, producer, and programmer from the Gold Coast of Australia.
She has lived in the UK on and off for the past 6 years and released her debut album The Rainbow Ride in 2012. Freesia has also recorded 3 albums (most notably The Lapdancer, Soulperfreesia, and Fast Forward) with her "Partner In Chime", UK producer Soulpersona, as well as featuring heavily on his 2015 album Momentum.

Princess Freesia has also cut her teeth as a session vocalist, working live and in the studio for soul legends such Jocelyn Brown, Leon Ware, Ben E King, Jean Carne, The Valentine Brothers, Roy Ayers, Arthur Baker, and Shirley Jones (from The Jones Girls). She has also been remixed several times by DJ Joey Negro who when interviewed has said "She is a talent and her CD The Rainbow Ride is definitely worth checking out."

In her spare time she likes to focus on holistic nutrition and fitness, alternative therapies such as reiki and crystals, spending time in nature, reading mountains of books, helping people to light up, and enjoying that 'stellarsonic' sound.

Her album STELLARSONIC! was a crowdfunded campaign and in her own words: "I created this joint in the hope that I might 'deliver the shivers' via themes of personal consciousness, love, and social awakening through soulful boogie injections, retro riffs, and PLENTY OF HOXXXBEAMS, HA!"
