My next guest on Yax Invites is Tarrin Atari.

Tarrin Atari is a newcomer to the Naarm/Melbourne techno scene who is ready to make his mark. Having spent many years refining his technique and selections, he is eager to showcase his skill in the form of a 3 hour mix. His sound has evolved into a immersive, beepy and 
groovy interpretation of techno, featuring oscillating sounds and percussive rhythms. Tarrin takes great inspiration from artists such as Philippa Pacho, Claire Morgan and Ogazón, because of their dedication to the DJ craft, as well as their unique selections. 

This mix is aims to simulate the experience of an opening set and is a journey from 128 to 135 bpm, delving deep into the sound of 2010s techno. This involves labels such as Float, Nonseries, Mote Evolver and Polegroup. The mix itself gradually builds with intensity, hypnotising the listener with overlapping bleeping melodies. The extended mix allows Tarrin to work through a variety of moods, as well as playing with the push, pull and release of groove.
