Involve Records presents two electrifying remixes from Spaniards Regal and Andres Campo that pay tribute to the iconic classic ‘Asi Me Gusta A Mi’ by Chimo Bayo, an emblem of the legendary ‘Ruta del Bakalao’ movement in the 90’s in Spain. 

Regal's "La Ruta" remix cleverly nods to the movement's history and reimagines the track with his signature acid touch. The distinct 303 sounds add a layer of driving intensity, capturing the essence of Regal's unparalleled production prowess. On the flip side, Andres Campo, resident of Spain’s legendary nightclub Florida 135, gives his remix a mesmerising rhythm by seamlessly integrating the original’s lyrics into a pattern of alternating heavy kicks and distorted machine sounds, bridging nostalgia and innovation.

Sounds design fanatics, novelty addicts and freaks unite: Wallis’ label Jell is releasing its second vinyl, with a groovy EP from Argentinean artist Manu Calmet. Heavily influenced by his drummer background and appreciation for layered and complex sounds, this four tracker cements the art direction of the label as committed to offering something different into the techno realm.

‘Pyjama Party’, the latest EP by the Argentinean music producer/drummer/DJ Manu Calmet consists of 4 tracks, including a collaboration with the renowned artists Sassyggirl and DJ Sustancia under their project name Stripclab. In this EP, Manu opens up new horizons by merging vocals, elaborate drum patterns and emotive melodies into techno arrangements. The sound design and high energy will take you on an exhilarating musical journey filled with Latin rhythms, suspense moments, build ups and down-lifters.

Sita Abellán (aka SITA) is a DJ, producer, and ever-evolving internet phenomenon who matrices music, fashion, and digital culture into a persona unlike any other. Crisscrossing runways and underground dancefloors for more than a decade, SITA’s distinct sound comes from her love of historical techno, drawing influences from the Eurohouse of the '00s, the Ruta Del Bakalao scene of ‘90s Valencia, the ‘80s Belgian new beat era, and modern Berlin techno.

As a DJ, SITA is at home playing for underground crowds in Ibiza’s most storied clubs (Hï Ibiza, DC-10) while also taking the stage at major festivals such as Secret Project, III Points, Sonar Mexico, and EDC. In 2022, she launched her own queer-friendly techno party, OUTOPIA, in Barcelona, booking some of techno’s most forward-thinking acts. “Expect visceral club tracks to make you sweat,” Resident Advisor wrote about one of the parties, who have chosen OUTOPIA as an editorial pick three times already.
