CLAIR welcomes the listener to Mother nature’s boudoir of colourful mischief by way of field recordings sent to her by San Francisco based filmographer Andy MacLennan. 
Andy and Clair were both frequenters of the legendary Glasgow club night ‘Optimo’ in the early 2000s, ran by JD Twitch and Jonnie Wilkes who’s musical ethos has always been a spectrum of diversity and creativity, something Andy and Clair connected with, and which has continued to be an underlying influence for them both ever since. 

Dissected and sculpted cries of the jungle are blended with shards of vocal and instrumental experimentation for CLAIR’s latest musical project.  ‘Body Blossom’ is a journey from the vibrant brightness of the canopy to the dark brooding rainforest floor. From euphoria to sadness it’s an emotive ode to the rainforest and the challenges life faces in the endangered tropics
