Years on the global circuit as a DJ, plus serious studio chops, have shaped him into a truly versatile artist with his own voice and vision.

Joining the ride is Anna Schreit – a Berlin-based DJ and producer known for her fluid style and deep musical roots.
Raised on her father’s art rock and shaped by both the raw pulse of Berlin’s underground and her formative time in Munich, Anna has carved out a name for herself with genre-bending sets and a fearless approach to house and beyond. A resident at Sisyphos, she brings her own flavour to the release with a killer remix that hits just right – slick, unrelenting, and dripping with intent.

Rain

Hailing from Scotland and now based in Bangkok, rising and already well-respected producer Keep Me In The Light maintains a unique perspective on both the European and Asian dance music scenes. Just as he has crossed continents, his latest EP traverses the genres of Italo and Cosmic Disco, with a progressive touch that bridges the legacy of Paradise Garage and Studio 54, with modern dance pilgrimages such as Panorama Bar and Burning Man, where his music has earned the support of influential DJs including Gerd Janson, Cormac and Maceo Plex.

Silicone Hustle conjures its hypnotic groove from a bubbling bassline, intertwining with a shuffling groove that confidently places the lead track within the pleasure and promise of the small hours on a busy dancefloor. Wide-eyed and almost wistful, Bengal Disco finds a cinematic, widescreen groove in South-Asian influences, another causeway between East and West. Eschewing obvious samples, it reflects the range of music showcased throughout his ongoing residency on Hanoi Community Radio.

Delivering a full-bodied finale, Keep Me In The Light leans into his progressive house instincts on Welcome To St Louis, expanding the frame of his production nous to fill a warehouse-sized space for ravers, marked by throbbing bass, wiggling melodies and a snatched vocal sample heightened with euphoria.

Andy Ash is a long time contributor to the sound of Quintessentials, with his album „All the colours“ being the highlight of his work. Until now! The Liverpudlian shows superb diversity on his new EP called „Silent Planet“. The opener, „Patch 2“ is a stripped down masterpiece of Dub Techno and a perfect club tool. „Hross“ can be called Acid House, and you know we love that! The B-side shows more of a relaxed vibe with the beautiful string-laded „Franco alley“ and the smooth low BPM track „Yellow“. This silent planet has something to say and shows great variety of styles and Andy’s skills as a producer - and yes, all AA releases have his own artwork!

Heartbreak

DJ Subaru returns to Palms Trax’s CWPT with ‘Dog’, showcasing three tracks of offbeat dancefloor material that encompasses throbbing italo, sticky indie dancefloors and snarling, timeless punk.

Following on from their 2024 EP ‘Lots of Love’, the short time since has seen the DJ and producer rising on their own terms, scoring Tune of The Week from BBC 6Music’s ‘Introducing’, playing multiple gigs at Berghain/Panorama Bar and elsewhere around Europe, always returning to hone their cultishly adored Pleasuremaxxx party in their home city of Leeds.

Title track ‘Dog’ reunites DJ Subaru with regular vocal collaborator Chopper Johnson, delivering a gratifying sermon of canine defiance to suit Subaru’s razor-sharp motorik disco, whose pumping bassline and angular guitar licks prove irresistible to dancers seeking independent energy in the lineage of CBGBs or Trash.

Meanwhile, Rush channels the same philosophy into a pogoing pleasure palace, raising the tempo and masterfully dividing its impulses between the cosmic elegance of Norwegian nu-disco and Pete Waterman’s poppers-fuelled strobe light fantasies. The result is an international anthem in memory of all local discoteques.

Finally, ‘Swoon’ steps back from the fizzier attitude of its tougher siblings for Subaru’s most disciplined attempt yet at a “proper club track”; the result succeeds entirely on its own terms, destined to transfix revelers with blissful analogue chords and slinky drums, while never skipping a beat on Subaru’s unique sonic character. Rush

A trio of hypnotic, shapeshifting grooves from Thomass Jackson that blur the lines between party and paranormal. Unpredictable yet always danceable.

Transcend into orbit with Uritorco Times. (Probably) an ode to Argentina’s most mystical peak, UFO synthesisers flash and bleep around a wonky bassline. The result is equal parts mystic ritual and late night mischief.

Sly yet crunchy Push Comes To Shove rides a killer bassline over off kilter percussion. Sleazy mechanical funk that teeters, entranced between tension and release.

Sonic Witchcraft ensues in Junk Be Gone as the shadowy yet playful bassline twists like smoke around the acid melody summoning rhythm from strangeness.

Junk Be Gone gets the Felix Dickinson treatment for the EP’s remix delivering an extra long rework that stays respectfully true to the original in all the right ways. Live acid bass envelops the original bassline whilst ever intensifying synth solos build to an epic crescendo.

Emerging from the confines of the underground, Shadow Pressings returns with a brand-new slab of raw wax—four cuts of stripped-back, analog-driven house music from an unknown artist whose identity remains in the shadows. True to the label’s ethos, this release channels the spirit of Chicago basements and Detroit lofts, where swing, grit, and soul collide beneath the glow of a red light.
Side A opens with ‘Trentsetter’, a deep and muscular statement piece. Built around a weighty low end and fat synth stabs, it rolls with confident restraint—equal parts hypnotic and heavy. ‘Unreleased Slices’ takes things back to the early sampler era, when the chopped and replayed vocal melody craze was born. Crunchy, looping, and unapologetically raw, it’s a love letter to the equipment limitations that sparked a movement.
Flip over to Side B and you’ll find ‘Dreamed Up Ecstasy’, a deeper excursion where chiming synth melodies drift above perfectly saturated drums. Emotive yet functional and shimmering with a sense of hedonistic abandon this one creates just the right after hours vibe. Closing the record, ‘Am I‘ dives even further into the deep. Classic M1 organ gives a nod to the ‘90s, while a spoken phrase and chopped vocal textures provide a hook that lingers long after the needle lifts.
