Visionquest unleash the second superb release on this year’s most exciting new label. Footprintz possess the kind of musical magic that seems to be created through some unfathomable chemical reaction, their pop sensibilities perfectly balanced with a mystical sense of kudos. Sounding like Hot Chip in paradise, Hercules in a new Love Affair with a euphoric LCD Soundsystem, ‘Utopia’ is the first step in a great musical journey for this magnetic partnership.

Charming guitar led melodies strung out over blissful poetic lyrics and dreamy synths, ‘Utopia’ is the embodiment of its definition. A captivating blend of pop magic, hatched in a dream and painted in vivid colour, it creates devotion to its musical heart. It’s elusive partner in crime, ‘Golden Dreams’ is cloaked in mystery and soaked with attraction. Uttering choral cries and apocalyptic echoes, it evokes the thrilling sensations of falling in love.

Steering to the dancefloor, house music king Ewan Pearson breathes melancholic pulses through Utopia’s veins in a heart-rendering remix for the small hours a truly inspiring remix from Ewan who mastered the whole EP.

The second release on the Visionquest label, brought together by the four musketeers: Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Shaun Reeves, illuminates their inspired direction and precise aims to unleash a fresh visionary sonic imprint upon the earth.

Footprintz are the Montreal based duo formed through the dreamy musical decadence of Adam Hunter and Clarion North, channeling hypnotic euphoria from the constellation Pegasus into kaleidoscopic sunrise floors.

After the hallucinate EP "Give Chance A Trance", Moderna and Theus Mago return to Duro with a reissue of their first collaboration work, 'Dog Is Calling You', originally released in 2016 under Chloè’s label, Lumière Noire. The reissue includes the three original cuts and the remix of ‘Dog is calling you’ by Die Wilde Jagd, plus three new remixes by Mexico based artists Mijo & Macaulay, Alinka of Twirl Records, and the Riotvan family Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht .

The EP begins with the classic "Asesino Sicótico", a booming, dark and insane cut. It's a fusion of techno energy with house music groove. It's followed by "Dog Is Calling You", a slow mix of melted bass, orbital and acidic sounds. To close the original versions is the fan favorite "Papa En Roy", a mixture of classic techno with obsessive and repetitive bass lines, while Moderna's vocals take us on a lunatic journey.

The remix by Mijo & Macaulay of "Asesino Sicótico" is a hypnotic, insistent, and powerful cut. The bass line runs over you while the voice gets lost among synthesizers, pads, and percussion. Alinka surprises us with her version of "Papa En Roy", adding echoes of voices, a liquefying and electrifying bass, distorted percussion, and maniacal synthesizers.

Riotvan friends, Peter Invasion & Gregor Habicht, give us their version of "Papa En Roy", which is a forceful and exciting cut, creating bursts of energy perfect for the dance floor. To close the release is the version made by Die Wilde Jagd, a cut with a reverberated and liberating atmosphere, the drums and bass take you to the climax while the drums hold you firmly in a slow but continuous step.

This four-track EP has received special treatment from three dark disco advocates: Local suicide, Undo, and Ombra international label boss Curses(@cursesforever). Each of them integrating their signature sounds to the originals. 

We are happy to premiere “Curses” remix of the original track “The downside of being an asshole” and once again he has shown his love for blending rock & roll with the darker side of disco and turning the vocals into ghostly whispers.

Colombia’s Kaputt Club returns with another sterling various artist release featuring a host of talent that showcases the best in dark disco, electronica, electro and much more. 

2020 saw the Bogota based club launch their eponymous imprint with a far reaching compilation, dropping tracks from a host of artists that perfectly represent the Kaputt sound as they further cement their position as a beacon of the Colombian underground. Now they are back with ten new and exclusive cuts which transcends the club and explores the human impact on the planet, and how nature came back to reclaim their land. 

Born in quarantine when nature sounded much louder than usual, VozTerra a local non-profit organization invited people to listen to nature in 'Sounds from your window'. People in Colombia and around the world took the opportunity of the isolation to listen and record ths sounds of nature. The material, together with soundscapes previously recorded in the Van der Hammen Reserve and in the La Conejera Wetland, in Bogotá, were given to DJs from the electronic music scene to create musical pieces which are now part of the ‘Reserva/Voz Terra’ compilation. 

The alliance of Kaputt.wav, VozTerra and the Museum for the United Nations - UN Live, is the compilation of unconventional actions that musicians and people from all over the world took to express their interest in caring for nature with the hope of inspiring people to take action to care for biodiversity and mitigate climate change. 

Things get underway with ‘Suba-Cota 1996’ from local talent Vilamarea, offering up a succinct opener of warm electronica with rich cinematic pads. Berlin based Curses taken up the baton next with the ethereal and hypnotic ‘Until the Fire Stops’ before Colombia’s Julio Victoria picks up the pace with acid tinged ‘Regreso’. Argentinian and Calypso Records boss Thomass Jackson joins forces with the ever impressive Local Suicide duo for the wonderfully chuggy workout that is ‘The Snitch’ and another Berlin resident in the shape of Bogota’s MiaHush then drops the arpeggiated roller, ‘Siempre Viva’ replete with 80’s inspired synth lines. The compilations second half sees chunky electro from Scadta, syncopated rhythms and rich chords from Nuclear Digital Transistor and some Italo inspired brilliance from Bordeaux’s Dombrance. Completing the package we have the deeply delicious ‘Marcha’ from Kabinett and a final closing opus from Kat Yusti in the shape of ‘Bestia’. ‘
