Ada waktu dimana kita harus mengalami kesulitan, penderitaan, air mata yang tak dapat dipahami oleh siapapun. Mungkin saat ini kita sedang bergumul berat. Banyak rencana hidup yang harus ditunda karena keadaan tidak memungkinkan. 

Kita merasa gagal, frustasi, depresi, merasa Tuhan begitu jauh. Kini hanya diri dan Tuhan yang tahu beratnya beban yang harus dipikul. Namun, lagu ini mau mengingatkan kita bahwa segala sesuatu yang Tuhan ijinkan terjadi adalah untuk kebaikkan kita, Ia tidak lepas tangan, Ia tidak sekalipun meninggalkan umat-Nya.  

Seringkali karena keberdosaan, kita gagal memahami rencana Tuhan, kita protes ketika keadaan berubah dan tidak berjalan seperti yang kita mau. Kita memilih menjauh dan marah kepada Tuhan sedangkan dibalik layar Tuhan sedang bekerja untuk kebaikkan hidup kita.

Ia bekerja dengan cara-Nya yang ajaib dan tidak terselami oleh pemikiran kita yang terbatas dan berdosa ini. Ia bekerja menurut waktu-Nya dan bukan waktu kita. 

Kami berdoa agar teman-teman semua beroleh penguatan dan penghiburan. Kiranya iman kita selalu berpusat pada Kristus. Kiranya kita hidup dengan penuh penyerahan pada Tuhan. 

Jika hari ini Ia ijinkan kita melalui perkara-perkara sulit, ingatlah selalu bahwa Dia setia bersama dengan kita, maka berjalanlah dalam ketaatan dan pandanganlah Tuhan!

Selalu ada pengharapan, ada sukacita, ada damai sejahtera, ada peristirahatan tersedia  bagi mereka yang terus bersandar dan berharap kepada Tuhan.
