Life is full of mysteries, and many of them cannot be explained. Through the union of Techno and Tarot, it is possible to create unexpected combinations and bring up hidden stories, which reveal the flow of synchronicity present in the universe.

'Arkaine' is a series of twenty-two small VA's that explore the many layers of Tarot's esoteric symbolism. At each release, three invited artists present their works inspired by the same Major Arcana card.

For this release, Chappier, Fel C, and Mila Journée sign productions in which they develop the theme 'The Magician'. The practical understanding of this arcane reveals to us the effortless concentration method, which allows us to transform dreams into reality, melody into rhythm. The Magician, therefore, symbolizes the fusion between theory and practice, the verb in action, the universe itself.

Black Roses Seventeenth EP comes from Italian duo MAAND. The guys from Naples provided three great tracks with a very romantic and melancholic feeling but at the same time full of energy at the right spot. "Anorher Day Without You" it's a journey with atmospheric pads and deep vocals, a perfect dream scenario. In "Faithless" we have the same dream scenario and atmospheric pads but in a more energetic way enhanced by the groove and bassline. The last one "Introspective" as the title suggests is a journey to discover ourselves, the leads and pads will bring you into a meditation phase till your be released with the explosive drop in the main break.

'For the 30th release of Infinite Depth, no one less than Brian Cid makes his debut on the label. The American bred and Berlin based producer has a very impressive discography and shows his darker side through this 'Rise To The Fifth' EP. The collection includes three storytelling originals with terrestrial atmospheres, guiding you to an unknown dimension.

The EP starts off with 'Alma De Monte', which means mountain soul. Around the organic kick and percussion, spacious elements are taking shape. Throughout the track these elements are generating a rising tension, which gets strengthened by a screaming sound of the mountain's soul. 

The next stop towards the unknown dimension is 'Mar Adentro'. The intergalactic, but still organic atmosphere gives you the feeling of being surrounded by a world bigger than ours. The earthy sawing synth in combination with the trippy higher details, makes you keep your feet on the ground, but brings your head into that mysterious and infinite world.

'Rise To The Fifth' gives you that extra push into the unrevealed fifth dimension. A dimension which a human mind is not capable of imagining. The stronger lower part of the track and celestial aspects are creating this journey toward the fifth. When arrived an unidentifiable sound welcomes you.'

Finishing this amazing EP we have the deep and melodic ‘Heart’. Full of emotion and beautiful melodies, Heart is a perfect track to listen and chill on a sunrise or sunset. Tash's Movement Recordings caps off a successful year by unveiling the first installment of their 'ProgNoesis' series. As the label continues to focus on an amalgamation of progressive house and melodic techno, this new endeavour looks to unite a cross section of both new and established artists from these popular blueprints. Featured on the first edition (in order of appearance) are: Not Demure, Julian Nates, Agustin Pietrocola, Mooh, Fabri Lopez, Abaze and Minders, Ta'kaam and Xtabay.

The release concludes with Minders, Ta'kaam and Xtabay who wind the collection down with 'Hic Et Nunc'. Leaning towards the astral side of techno, the trio crafts a seven minute journey of deep emotions and redolent rhythms. With a compelling narrative and modern design it picks up momentum quickly, as trailing effects and compact arps fill in the framework. The main break only furthers it's poignant leanings, as glowing synth phrases steal the air, before a stripped back drop seals it's brilliance.
