PRSM038 - BROKEN DIMENSION

Fel C relation with Prisma Techno began in January 2018 with the track ‘Overexceed’, a collab with Sam Marques released as part of ’Evolution’ VA. In early 2021, he was invited to Prismacast #101, recorded in Belo Horizonte/Brazil and received thousands of views. The partnership continued to grow, and in March, he released 'The Magician II', included as part of the mini VA 'The Magician', the second edition of the 'Arkaine' series, which explores the esoteric symbolism of the Tarot.

With 'Broken Dimension', his first authorial EP by Prisma, Fel C demonstrates his intelligence and versatility in 4 original tracks that combine techno with different influences like melodic, indie dance and afro.

The EP title track is a true interdimensional journey, and it's perfectly possible to have this perception while listening to the music. This Sensation is due to the creative use of unique timbres and effects created by Fel C, with the elements progressively introduced. As we go through this broken dimension, a comforting melody presents itself, giving the feeling that we are coming home.

‘Spiritual Deviation’ transports us to a ritual, starting with an atmosphere of suspense and shamanic groove to its epic break. Next, 'God's Dance' brings a bright and angelic atmosphere, slightly saturated timbres, and dramatic breakdown. The last track, ’Colluding’ featuring Mr. Theophilo, is marked by bass rolling and nostalgic indie dance elements.

It is remarkable the ability that Fel C has to create fascinating sound narratives, which go beyond the obvious, always with an ironic and freaky aspect.
