Nomadic for much of his life, Billy Dancer aka Charlie Le May has been dabbling in music since he was very young, influenced by the places where he lived such as South Africa, the USA, England and Australia, he has been quickly educating himself in electronic music until he In 2016 he decides to start mixing and selecting songs that are part of the music library that he shows us month after month in his sets uploaded to the Soundcloud platform, a space where he expresses his musical tastes, showing us versatility in his sets.

Between 2022 and 2023 he began to produce his own music and has attracted the attention of labels such as Deep Elite Records where he released his first EP called Messy Life and Electric Eden Records where he will release his EP All Night in February 2024.

With several EPs waiting to be released by labels, he hopes that 2024 will be the year his melodies and ways of feeling electronic music are revealed.

With a long road still to go, he hopes that his romantic music goes further every day.

Swedish-born, but Berlin-based, La Fleur has been making waves in the dance world for almost a decade now. La Fleur is one of those individuals who excel at anything they put their mind to and as a result her career is now thriving. Her driving ambition to make music led to her hanging up the lab coat and leave her steady job as a pharmacist in order to pursue making people dance. She has a number of different ventures in motion, which, not only includes being a DJ and producer, but a label owner, fashion designer, radio host and a mixed media artist, all of which are seeing sustained levels of success.

Turning heads globally, La Fleur was recently named the #1 charted artist on Resident Advisor and won the P3 Guild award for ‘Best Electronic Act’. She has seen huge success from all of her releases, in particular 'Hedione' and her 'Flowerhead' EP which just received a 2016 rework and remixes from Cassy and Dana Ruh. As well as pushing out constant original releases, La Fleur has become a regular go-to producer for her remix skills: She’s recently remixed the likes of Andhim, Carl Craig and Ian Pooley, as well as being called upon to put together guest radio mixes for Pete Tong, B. Traits and Heidi. She is currently the resident at Watergate, featured at Panorama Bar and played for Boiler Room twice (most recently along side Richie Hawtin and Dubfire).

Now on the eve of her debut Australian tour which includes a highly anticipated set for Piknic Électronik in Melbourne (https://www.facebook.com/events/1313101602043820/), and with new music on the way in the form of a remix for Francesca Lombardo (to be released on Echoe) alongside a remix for Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound imprint, she has taken some time out of her busy schedule to deliver an excellent Balance Selections podcast. What’s Up Desert Hearts Family,

​Looking back to 2014 ​when we first learned ​that we​ ​had ​confirmed DJ T. ​to ​headline​ our Desert Hearts Spring Festival,​ we had no idea that cold weekend would be one of the most pivotal moments ​in the early chapters of the Desert Hearts tail. 

At the time the family was still growing and together we were rocked by some of mother natures harshest elements, throughout the weekend, both rain and snow graced the grounds of Apple Valley and lead to a memory we will never forget, which was later dubbed as the infamous Snowy Hearts. 

​Flash forward five years, we knew we had to invite T. back into our new home at Los Coyotes and show him how this family has blossomed into the beautiful collective we all know and love today. 

T. wholeheartedly stands behind our mantra of spreading as much love as humanly possible and we couldn’t have been happier to have had him take the reigns on Sunday afternoon of the festival. With so much history from the mid ‘80s as one of the ​forefronts to Sven Vath’s legendary Omen club in Frankfurt, a creative behind Groove Magazine, and label-head of Get Physical​, it’s truly an honor to have a mogal like Thomas be considered an integral piece in our family.

Prisme is the result of the association between Nicolas Pepinster and Yves theys, two friends who have developed a profound passion for deep, melodic and emotional music for ages. They come from the famous country of beer, chocolate and waffle … little Belgium.

Prisme is influenced by a various range of styles and artists -- to name a few : Pinkfloyd, St Germain, Radiohead, Laurent Garnier or more recently Patrice Baumel, Apparat or Agoria … You can easily imagine that they do not focus on one single style of music; all these influences reflect in the work of Prisme!
