Face to Face was an award winning radio programme made by Prison Radio Association (PRA) in partnership with Victim Support.

The hour long programme focused on three victims of violent crime meeting three prisoners who had committed violent acts.

It was recorded inside HMP Brixton and broadcast on National Prison Radio. This was part of a wider Victim Support initiative to work with partner criminal justice agencies, while highlighting the importance of restorative justice.

Global Prison Trends 2015

This ‘data verbalization’ story is an adaptation of Professor Shadd Maruna’s article ‘desistance as a social movement’ published in the Irish Probation Journal in Oct 2017.  This Jazz Hip-Hop fusion argues that ‘reformed offenders’ are well placed to lead on their own agenda in the form of a social -movement.  More importantly ‘Ode to Rosa’ is about bringing research ideas from ‘academia to the streets’.

It's not new it's just to common, it's sickening...

This poem was inspired by nearly witnessing an old lady getting stabbed, just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was 2pm.We see it. We talk to each other. Then we close our doors and hope our kids are safe. We need to stop just hoping and take action, everyone just watched. Is this really the world we want to live in????
