The soundtrack of the Tamil film "Jeans" by AR Rahman is a timeless masterpiece that was played in our house throughout my childhood. From the first moment we took the cassette out of it's jeans pocket case and put it in the tape player back in 1998, "Jeans" established itself in my mind as a foundational benchmark of what inspired music could sound like.

As such, it is my pleasure to revisit this album with the inspiration it provided and present it to you with my unique perspective as "JEANS (Est. 1998)". I hope it inspires you as it inspired me.
