Stepper Reparations

Shortly after leaving the court room, Privilegeb returned home to his uncle house to see all of his belongings on the lawn. His uncle had enough of his troubles. This was the last day he would be living at his uncles house. Privilegeb left his things on the lawn and decided it was time for him to start a new chapter of his life. He was 14 and he had moved to his uncle house because of the troubles he was having with crime and school; but he was just getting in to more trouble. He would get caught in drugs houses, fights in school, and being with the wrong people. Privilegeb moved in with his Mother and life started to change. He was able to meet a mentor in his high school, who would guide him through all his hardships. Privilegeb would start experimenting with music while he was finishing his associates degree in college. This is also when he would start hanging out with his brother Kiid Chris who is an lyrical artist. He would write raps and poetry but his focus was school. He would also visit the neighborhoods where he used to live and share his story from retrospect to the youth. This is how he got the name Privilege. The youth looked to him as an elder who was able to proposer and finished college. Retrospect eventually finished college, and started experimenting with music. This is how he fell in love with recording trap music. 

Privilegeb enjoys expressing his conscious pain through trap music using rhymes and melodies. In hindsight this Bronx bred is motivated by the youth and the influences of the modern Hip Hop era. He is vocal about his community. He has unique sound and gentleman vibe. He hopes to build the bridge from his city and express his life experiences through trap music through melodies; however, don’t let the music fool you Privilegeb has lyrical skills on the mic he will showcase. He is one of the few artist with a versatile style. Retrospec calls his music trap poetry. He was inspired by ATL but also brings a swag from New York. He is going to make you dance, cry, and turn up in your car. Privilegeb loves to party so he will give you a vibe like no other. Privilegeb feels the trap is the vicious cycle most black America’s are born in and have to find their way out of it. There is a cycle of poverty, crime, and lack of opportunity in his neighborhood. This is something Retrospect mentions in his music. He expresses this in his songs like savage and other songs. He also loves to express his happiness in records like Savage. He hopes to grab the attention of young black men and woman all across the world and those who can relate. So far he has performed in front of many difficult crowds in Harlem and the Bronx and has been able to win them over. This is was makes him strive for perfection.
