Now, the factory is known as "Junkertown," a place where all the surviving "junkers" lived and grew disdain to omnics. JUNKRAT and ROADHOG are two of those junkers, a tag-team duo of most wanted criminals. not winning a single match seems ironic, as they seemingly stole their way into the bracket!

the JACKBOX PARTY PACK represent jackbox games, a company that puts out yearly party game collections for about thirty dollars a sampler. MAYONNAISE, the cat, reminds me of myself. they look good in a suit, that's for sure. calm and collected, but stiff on the facts, and isn't shy to let his thoughts run wild. he leads this entourage of characters: an eccentric puppet that can walk around on its own, and a bunch of old-fashioned dolls with buttons for eyes and, morbidly, some with ropes around them. there's more than the eight shown, trust me. the pack went two-and-out with an astounding "super split", losing to two one-vote differences in a row. the pack seems happy enough being part of tournament history for their anomalous loss-case.

when initially entering the jetblack, NEPETA LEIJON and CALLIOPE were paired up by fate as the MATCHMAKERS for, for what they could tell, no reason. an hour later, they were cooped up together watching precure. NEPETA is a cave-dwelling carnivore troll that, while not a cat, is the most cat-like of our feline-adjacent contestants. CALLIOPE is a fandom-drowned, pleasant cherub that is, fortunately, separate from her tyrannical brother, caliborn. the two bond over their artistic hobbies, affinity for online communities, and a strong eye in the art of shipping. the MATCHMAKERS have been a pleasant presence in the jetblack, if a little overwhelming, and they're purrfectly content in their solo-win.

AUDREY II is a mean green mother from outer space, her words, not mine, who has apparently officially taken over her Earth. being a plant hivemind, it's only inevitable that one of her conduit plants would end up in something as anomalous as the jetblack. being that she could only move by duplication, the organizers of PRIZM arranged her agency, THE PLANT GANG, a horde of competitive piranha plants, working as and under their head operative, IVY, the head of the organization. AUDREY II and IVY performed well early on, but got deforested by two industrial opponents. while bitter, they hold no grudge.

OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT always felt like an odd one out. with a future that seemed so bright, he never saw the light of day of the general until nearly 80 years after his debut. after mickey mouse turned his home into wasteland, OSWALD became cold, bitter, and obsessed with mickey's stolen success. ever since mickey showed him kindness and self-sacrifice, they've reconciled and became like brothers. sinking into the inky depths of the jetblack, our favorite rabbit was filled with terror when, not only is the place he's been put into reminiscent of home in its worst of states, what he thought was mickey mouse turned out to not know who he was. He's gotten by, and while he's not satisfied with his placement, he'd much rather be worrying about his wife and kids at home.

poor, poor coraline. after a few years of therapy and a couple years of high school, coraline was sure that she'd never find her way in some unknown dimension where things appear to be more pleasant than they seem. one night, however, she wakes up under the looming gaze of mysterymouse and she's been stuck without her family for way too long. making high placement but an early enough exit from bracket seems to be the best of both worlds for miss jones. though she's made the best of her situation, something's itching the back of her neck that the worst of it is yet to come.

larry the lobster is a casual bodybuilder who loves his long stints at goo lagoon back in bikini bottom, so much so he became a lifeguard at one point to keep people safe at his favorite hangout spot. after disappearing during a late game of volleyball with the bros, larry's been here longer than most other contestants, and he's made more relationships than he'd ever thought he would. getting just shy of top 6, larry's confident in his placing, but losing who he lost to in the end really eats at his ego.

█ABOUT THE HOST█

the TOODLES unit is an escaped asset from the Disney company's "Disney Discoveries" department, developed specifically to explore the jetblack as a remote rover. after discovering that the jetblack's cerebral, putty-like matter could create whatever the imagination could hold, disney immediately started manipulating it for its own gain, the droid was sent to project colorful illusions of the mickey mouse cast by using its heightened imagination circuits to produce the first show filmed in another dimension, internally known as the "clubhouse project."

one frightful morning, the laboratory it was kept in was trashed and the TOODLES unit was nowhere to be seen, stealing access to the jetblack with it. "mysterymouse", or whatever it decides to call itself, has been missing for three years.

and i've been with him this entire time.

the once-ler did not initially have the guts to join PRIZM. he had heard about it through his connections, and wanted to apply as "The Lorax," so he could be a little more appealing from the outset. since the junkers stole his spot, he stepped up to the plate himself after discovering that he's had quite the audience. to this day he's bitter about being snubbed of his "previously agreed upon" top 4 spot, but is cheering for his significant other to hit the big time.

bon and fred are a lawyer + detective duo that were born with the universe itself, presumably. despite their immense powers, they often only resort to going all out when at death's door or if it would be really, really funny, usually both. when given a young child to look after seemingly by fate, they've learned to take more creative approaches to their problems that have been thrust upon them since being put in the jetblack. while they seemingly got more and more competitive as they started winning matches, they've humbled into their fifth place finish.

lilith is a billionaire scientist and philanthropist dedicated to solving social problems while maintaining a comfortable lifestyle. she's done so much to her childhood home that rather than having lilith move out, her parents moved out to leave her with her space. being away from home for so long is something she's not quite used to. having met many of the people that inhabit the jetblack through a layer of fiction, meeting characters one would only understand as imaginary seems to be a unique situation for her.
lilith hadn't anticipated getting fourth place, only losing the one match. despite her prominent placement and the extensive hiatus, she's been relaxed about the competition and seems content doing her own thing while this whole thing blows over. eventually.

bryce baker, better known as his stagename, "powerline", is a pop sensation that, at least right before entry to the jetblack, was "on his way out" as a top-billed star. being a celebrity known for singing about corny life lessons in a funky way, there wasn't a niche for him in the current market. who knows what would have happened to his career if it weren't for all the people he met and music he's listened to since he began his tournament run in PRIZM? arriving just short of the grand top 2 position, getting bronze isn't something that's killed his ego for sure.

bender "bending" rodriguez is an egotistical alcoholic robot from the top of the third millennia. fender is a vagrant 'bot from a collective called the "rusties", and tends to have a hard time putting himself together. when forced together as long as they've been, it's pretty necessary to become friends. bender tends to call the shots, and fender is learning lots of new things since they arrived in the jetblack. the pair barrelled through winners' bracket until a speed bump into losers' caused a bit of a detour through beating a losers' sweeper before they regained their feet. with how competitive bender's taking things, it's pretty hard for the normally neutral fender to lean into the heel lifestyle. either that, or he's completely oblivious to the whole thing.

█ABOUT THIS CONTESTANT█
jon arbuckle was a humble, single cartoonist with two pets and a middle class income. that is, until something otherwordly decided to seek retirement within the vessel of his fat cat, garfield. in the assimilation process, garfield thrashed in a way that would give jon fatal wounds, and would likely have died right then if the old god did not have mercy. seemingly by good luck, jon was given access to inter-dimensional technology that let him enhance his wounded body with cybernetics. since arriving in the jetblack, jon has been on a 4 win-streak and remains on winners’ side. however,  despite his oppressive run, jon has been using his 3 extra years making as much art as possible for himself and to figure out just who he is.

PORKY MINCH is a bratty twelve year old destined for supervillainy. despite his whiny attitude, near-heartless actions, and life full of sin- he's amassed a surprising amount of power for his age. what sets PORKY apart from his peers is intense determination and the infallible will to get what he wants. the appearance of REUBEN, an innocent piglet from the overworld, didn't alter his ultimate goal: making this competition all about him- this time with a mighty steed. nearly three years later, the infamously tragic REUBEN has died, remaining as a ghost by PORKY'S side. while REUBEN still doesn't know what's going on, PORKY will make his opponents rue the day they even considered winning against him... once he's away from the jetblack, of course. It's limitless powers have been spoiling and satiating him.
