“'Promesses Vol. 1' is the first compilation of the label including 30 tracks by 40 different artists from all around the globe. Promesses’ founders built this release as their DJ sets with the aim of putting forward recent musical hybridizations from club anthems to etherial interludes. 'Promesses Vol. 1' is a good testimony of the current label work.

"Five years after the first volume, ARENA01, Agva Records is back with ARENA02, a mega-pack of almost forty tracks focusing on the experimental and hybrid club scene of Latin America.

Released in 2016, the first chapter laid the foundations of the label and unveiled a solid tracklisting composed of close and local members of the collective (Defensa, EL PLVYBXY, CHLO…) and international producers (King Doudou, Bigote).

For this second edition, the label did not go easy and gathered a real festival line-up. ARENA02 features projects from all over the continent and beyond, from emerging artists to real headliners: Dengue Dengue Dengue, Lao (NAAFI, Mexico), Bungalovv (TRRUENO, Argentina), Endgame (Precious Metal, UK), Catnapp, Doxxed, Pobvio, or even the Mexican producer who signed the revival of pre-Hispanic tribal, Ozomatecuhtli. MUTANTS MIXTAPE is a collaborative release from members of the Mutants1000000 Discord community which was established in order to raise funds for organizations that support and uplift black and trans lives.

The official release date coincides with Bandcamp’s Juneteenth fundraiser where 100% of their share of sales will go to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Remaining proceeds from the MUTANTS MIXTAPE release will also be donated to over seventy community bail funds, mutual aid funds, and racial justice organizers via ActBlue.
