Paris-based label Last Love Records is pleased to present to their debut compilation "Everything a Part of You" ♡

With 22 tracks, ranging from ambient to club music, through hyperpop and lesbian anthems, "Everything a Part of You" depicts the evanescence and multi-faceted experience of love stories.

❦ All proceeds from the digital sale of this compilation will be donated to the mutual aid fund of the FLIRT. The FLIRT is a nonprofit working towards helping disabled, sex workers, immigrant and/or poor trans women. To fight against transphobia, white supremacy and ableism, they created a support network between trans women and transfeminine people, through various actions : emergency financial aid, access to hormones, psychosocial and administrative support. It is time to let go of your fear and doubts. You must learn to embrace the darkness of your soul, for it is a light beacon of hope for humanity. Your soul wants to show itself in its truest form, strength, perseverance, courage and determination of spirit. In this lifetime your soul needs to cleanse and open its feelings for katharsis.

With the double compilation “Infinite Summer: Ekstase & Fantasi”, katharsis celebrates the return of raves and concerts to society after a long period of pandemic shutdown. A magical summer has past filled with a great pallet of emotional material, ready to be expressed. Therefore, we encouraged a collection of artists we adore to channel their imagination of the greatest way to conclude an endless summer night with into a piece of music.

This resulted in a grand assemblage of harmonious manifestations, naturally splitting into two divisions with opposing focuses. In contrast to the first part of the duology “Ekstase”, which focused on euphoric and dancefloor-oriented outputs, this second part “Fantasi” has a more serene and introverted focal point. The majority of the tracks seem to be meant to stop time in deep reflection with a placid sunrise as the backdrop, exemplified by the purgative opener “salomé” by Aestum, but the listener will find occasional rhythmic outpourings like the unhurried clubby vibes on awbluu’s “Rosalyne (Voxen)” or the beautiful melodic “we will get where?” by Beham.

Our premiere, ‘Gerris’, comes windswept and kaleidoscopic, placing the listener in an off-kilter world of digital detritus and dreamy, melancholic introspection.

As dawn breaks, amidst the lingering echoes of dreams and nightmares, which one remains etched in the depths of your mind? Caught in-between, Marseille-based project JS Donny delves into this hazy realm of recollection through their upcoming 10” vinyl single, ‘BnN’, set for release early 2024 via Bamboo Shows and Chrüsimüsi Records.
From the two-tracker exudes a fragile yet tense atmosphere, courtesy of JS Donny's unique presence, haunting vocals - soaring from restorative whispers to anguished screams – and raw energy electric guitar riffs. Further enhanced by the talents of Sarah-Louise Barbett (Drums), Jano aka Janomax (samples, keyboards) and Nadja Meier (bass), the recording seamlessly interweaves elements of slow-rock, shoegaze-folk, and soft-metal, all infused with progressive influences. A masterfully-performed balancing act between the ‘Busin***’ bittersweet ballad, and the ‘Never Forget U’ insurrectional outlet.
 
Forget and dream with the fluttering of the butterfly, available on digital platforms starting Dec. 11 and on a 10” clear-vinyl late February 2024!
