Here we go: Pro B Tech Music kicks off in 2025. This is a big year, and our start sets things off with a bang.

What we bring you is a 4 track EP from Univ3rse Sri Lanka, this comes with remixes from Ben Summers, Jero Nougues and Pilch,

Every track from the original through all remixes is nothing but stunning, we love these, a real proper kick-off and welcome into 2025 with a proper international list of artists, (Sri Lanka, Argentina, and UK)

The original sets the scene, this is full-on 4/4 Progressive Gem, full of melodic elements and a driving bassline, guaranteed to get your feet moving.

We are then treated to 3 remixes, each bringing something different with their take, Ben & Jeor take things slightly deeper, and darker at the beginning but as we approach the break the main melody is very noticeable soon kicking things up, We welcome Pilch to Pro B for his very on Pro B Tech Music, and it is a very welcome first, Pilch really keeps the drive and creates another beast to complete this pack.

We absolutely love this EP and all its mixes, it is a fantastic start to 25.

The founder of our label, goodkidmadcity, dedicated seven months to reaching out to emerging and innovative artists from across the globe in order to curate a truly exceptional compilation titled SINNERS. We are now officially at T-10 on our countdown to 100 releases, and with that we welcome back our dear friend Golan Zocher, a producer known for his deep and emotive sound, continues to solidify his presence in the progressive house scene with his latest “Palo Santo” EP. Golan, who previously made his mark with releases like “Wonder Way” as well as string of killer remixes for many of the worlds great progressive house labels, now brings a fresh exploration of sound and atmosphere.

The EP opens with “Atalo,” featuring the compelling vocals of Golan Alkelay, whose past projects have traversed various genres, blending electronic, rock, and jazz influences. This track pairs emotive melodies with dynamic rhythms, creating a perfect balance of intensity and reflection. The second piece is a dub version of “Atalo,” offering a stripped-back, rhythmic exploration that emphasises its intricate production layers.

Closing the EP is the title track “Palo Santo,” a sonic homage to the sacred wood known for its cleansing properties. This piece is a journey of deep basslines, organic percussion, and ethereal synths, capturing a spiritual essence that aligns with Zocher’s knack for creating introspective yet danceable tracks. This release promises to captivate audiences and further cements Zocher’s growing reputation in the global electronic music community.

These tracks have received early support from Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo.

Atalo (Dub Mix)

SLC-6 Music opens the new year with a new single from D.J. MacIntyre and Dr Green. Hailing from California, D.J. MacIntyre has been a beloved figure within the American electronic music scene for the better part of a decade. Oftentimes finding the creative space between progressive house and melodic techno, D.J. MacIntyre has taken his cross-genre sound to some of the undergrounds trendiest imprints, most notably Nick Warrens The Soundgarden, Clubsonica, Freegrant Music and RKP. Also well travelled as a DJ, the Santa Barbara resident has appeared at some of the worlds most prestigious events, most notably Burning Man and ADE, while also showcasing his borderless programming skills in Moscow, Malta, Sri Lanka, and all across the United States. Meanwhile, hailing from Sri Lanka, Daniel Claessen aka Dr Green has been one of SLC-6s core artists since making his debut in 2022 with a contribution to the SIX: Stage-11 collection. The next three calendar years would see Daniel deliver eight originals and three remixes for the American imprint, while also finding a home on Balkan Connection, Droid9 and La Foresta, amongst others. Now, as 2025 begins to take shape, D.J. MacIntyre and Dr Green combine their extensive forces for the first time on Martian Boogie, alongside remixes from Rockka, Juani Ramirez and GSix. The original mix shows just how good the creative synergy is between D.J. MacIntyre and Dr Green, as the duo crafts a memorable progressive journey that proves to be both musical and club-effective. A backbone of beefy beats and chugging grooves sets the pace for organic percussion, haunting motifs and a bevy of deconstructed sonics to conjure up transcendent imagery for the dancefloor. Touted Sri Lankan talent Rockka makes his SLC-6 return and provides the first remix following projects for Long Way Records and Mango Alley. Maintaining the spirit of the original, Rockka injects his own progressive spirit into the journey, one which focuses on a strong effects narrative and a searing acid build to lift the mood of any set. Also making his return to the label is Juani Ramirez who provides the second interpretation of Martian Boogie. With Juanis SLC-6 debut landing in November of last year as part the SIX: Stage-23 collection, the Argentine now provides his first remix for the label, delivering a straight forward no frills progressive workout, complete with buoyant grooves, emerging synth lines and a thunderous drop. Rounding out the release with the third and final interpretation of Martian Boogie is GSix who returns to the label for his second appearance. The Los Angeles resident has been noted for his borderless approach to production, oftentimes described as challenging and exploratory. Here GSix finds a cohesive balance between progressive house and techno, utilizing the main themes from the original with a relentless dancefloor approach.

Presenting their second release of 2025, D.J. MacIntyres SLC-6 Music welcomes Nimbus (BR) to the label for their debut single. Hailing from Brazil, Tom and Venao make up the newly coined Nimbus production moniker. First operating as a DJ duo, the pair founded UNNIT, an event promotion to support Brazils vibrant nightlife. As a producer Venao has already achieved measurable success across his four year solo career. Releases via Balkan Connection, Comet Records, Deep Down Music and Electronic Groove sit prominently on his discography, while support from progressive music trendsetters Ezequiel Arias, GMJ, Hernan Cattaneo and Mariano Mellino, amongst others, has propelled him into the forefront of Brazils burgeoning progressive scene. SLC-6 has also been a landing spot for Venao, with his label debut coming in May of last year. Now, paired with Tom as Nimbus, the duo make their production debut via SLC-6 with Spectral Illusion, alongside remixes from Leandro Murua and Dr Green. Spectral Illusion sets the tone for the Nimbus sound with an energetic peaktime flavour. Punishing kick drums and muscular grooves set the pace for skittered rhythms, arcane effects and fuzzed out arps to create a semi-conscious sonic journey, one that is sure to light up your dancefloor. Making his label debut with the first remix is Argentinian artist Leandro Murua, who arrives on the label following projects for Juicebox Music, Mango Alley and Nick Warrens The Soundgarden. The Cordoba resident opts for a different mood and vibe, relying on swaying grooves, hypno-rhythms and slowburn progression to cast a meditative spell over the listener. Rounding out the release with the second and final interpretation of Spectral Illusion is SLC-6 label manager Dr Green. Beloved for his cross-cultural sound, the Sri Lankan artist brings a contemporary progressive vibe to the piece, expertly working exotic percussive arrangements over energized chord stabs and low slung grooves.
