Created using a wide array of analog synthesizers including the addition of the legendary ARP 2600 – a reissue of the classic synth used on legendary anime productions of the 1980s and ‘90s – this thorough collection of whooshes, explosions, zaps, and punches sounds straight out of your favorite Japanese cartoons. All sounds have been mastered to tape to soften the edges and give them an authentic analog character that practically jumps out of the speakers without any extra enhancement.

Created by Jason Strawley and Andrew Garraway, Anime Vol. 2 has everything you need to give animation and games a fun, nostalgic vibe or punch up your sound design with exciting new layers. Elevate fight scenes to epic levels with larger-than-life punches, kicks, sword clashes, and impacts augmented by an assortment of cloth movements and other Foley for realism. Enhance your magic and superhero sound design with dynamic power-ups, charge-ups, and energy sounds that hit hard and cut through any mix. Create large-scale battles with surround sound battlefield ambiences, mecha and robot movements, laser blasts, crackling energy swords, and other high-tech weaponry. But it’s not all over-the-top – Anime Vol. 2 also includes common cartoon sound effects like whooshes, character emotes and reactions. The selection of clicks and button presses is perfect for creating user interface sounds or sweetening punches and impacts for extra detail.
