EP Bio:
This is a 2-track EP(with a bonus track included) that explores the world of melodic techno. The EP pays homage to the sounds from Afterlife Records and how they are able to create journey music through dark and melancholic sounds and chord progressions.

The EP starts off with the title track "Storms Brewing" which aims to envisage the turbulent and violent nature of storms through the dark coloured synths and acid lines used throughout the track. 

The second track, "The Calm" describes the calming aftermath of the storm. The repetitive and dark, almost lullaby-sounding arpeggios represent the overcast weather, now less vicious but still reminiscent of the violent thunderous sounds from "Storms Brewing".

The bonus track, "Explore Your Past" is a play on Anyma's recent release "Explore Your Future" that I decided to sneak into this EP. The bass stabs are the main element of the tracks and are directly inspired from Anyma. However, the track takes more influence from the world of trance and psytrance with the gated middle eastern vocals and atmospheric pads.

An hour of techno curated with love for our music community for Beyond Definition’s birthday rave event, “Blood Flow” held on 8/06/2025 at Oxford Underground, Sydney. 

It was such an honour to be a part of a line-up filled with Sydney’s most incredible local DJ’s and producers. Our set reflects the soundscapes that excites us a duo — from hypnotic melodic grooves to high-energy peak-time hitters and trippy psytech cuts. No genre bounds us.

This mix features a track from PRO5PECT, “Ricochet” (Out now on Human Sense Records) written specially for this event (written 10 hours prior!) that has now taken a life on its own. Another special moment of the set was featuring a massive collaboration between Sydney producers, Beyond Definition and PRO5PECT ft. Wild Moon with a heater track “Infinite Moment” (Coming soon to Xperiment Records) which had an amazing crowd reception on the night!

Happy Birthday, Leon aka Beyond Definition. 97.6 FM!!!! Sharing this set with you and everyone present was definitely an “Infinite Moment”.

This is my entry to the Lost Paradise 2025 DJ Competition! Starting off with the funky and bumpy grooves and retro sounds from the world of indie dance, nu-disco and house to the driving and rocking basslines of melodic house and techno with some remakes of anthems thrown in to get the crowd going.
